So you pick up a few draft sets as CoolStuff and you surprise your friends with a sunday draft only to realize you forgot the land and there's none within 100 miles. What do you do?
We basically created a second draw pile which you could optionally use of face-down any-color land. It worked just ok.
Card Cycle ideas for the set so far:
Ten tri coloured hybrid spells that are just plain useful.
e.g. Peruse, U/R/G, Instant, Draw a card.
Five axis coloured spells that are good for what they do.
e.g. Ambient Zap, UR, Instant, Deal 3 damage to target creature or player then draw a card.
Five three cost tri colour dudes
e.g. Sluice Elemental, URG, Creature-Elemental Troll Shroud, 4/1.
Five three cost tri colour charms
e.g. Oturu Charm GBW, Instant, Destroy target creature, enchantment or artifact it cannot be regenerated.
Any other ideas what do you think.

What about the old variable kicker cards? The creature itself costs 2W for a 2/2 First Strike, has a 1B kicker to destroy a creature and a 2R kicker to destroy an artifact or land -- that sort of thing.
Also, I like "If G was spent to play this spell, gain 3 life. If U was spent to play this spell, draw a card."
Mechanics like these would encourage people to play negashards without locking them into such specific colors and requiring the purchase of $15 lands for mana fixing.

Out f curiosity, are there plans to include a version of the ultimatum cards in this set? As per their counterparts in Alara.

I was thinking of a removal cycle, WW B/R (hybrid) Sorcery Remove target creature from the game if red was used to play this spell creatures controlles loses 2 life. If black was used you gain two life.
BB g/w SORCERY Destroy target non black creature, if green was used, put one green mana into the mana pool, if white was used, gain 3 life.
UU g/r instant Counter target spell. If red was used do three damge to target player if green was used draw a card
GG b/U instant find a basic land and put it into play tapped. If blue was used put into play untapped. if black was used target creature gets -1/-1
RR u/w instant Do four damage to targe creature, if white was used you gain three life, if blue was used draw a card.

pauper is a format. there is no hub for legacy or EDH or vintage or standard either. They should add a Pauper EDH format though, cause I didn't know what to file mine under.

Pauper is a format. Formats don't get hubs because they're already formats.
I don't think Pauper EDH needs to be a format. You can just use EDH as the format, then describe the deck as a Pauper EDH deck.

Ah... I see it now. My apologies.
And I'm actually in the camp of really disliking EDH, and its sub-genres.

To each his or her own, I suppose. EDH happens to be my favorite format.

In my casual playgroup, I've met Hokori, Dust Drinker , Bruna, Light of Alabaster , and Grand Arbiter Augustin IV across the table from me. One guy in particular has made the format his personal plaything and builds decks that are just misery to play against.
And I don't feel that EDH is very fun for more than 2-3 players at a time, because the games drag on, and there's too much downtime for me, so its boring.
Are other playgroups different? Should I even give the format a second try?

The thing about EDH is that your experience depends entirely upon your playgroup. If you have a playgroup that has the same perspective you do (i.e. they're as competitive or casual as you are), then the format is a lot of fun. If you're playing with the wrong playgroup, then the experience is going to feel fractured at best and miserable at worst.
On average, EDH games tend to consist of 3-4 players. It's not boring unless your opponents are unnecessarily slow or unless you're not having a good time.

Then I'll have to find a different playgroup. Thanks. :)

My LGS used to do Saturday night commander pods, I think the biggest one I was in was 6 person. Game was about 3-4 hours long (4 of us were playing some nasty U/x Control). Was fun, any I made a U/G Pauper that is really fun to play. But I haven't done Pauper EDH before.
