I am wondering if there is a "replacement" to Cyclonic Rift . Something effective but not as expensive as a card. Any suggestions would be great.

Few cards can properly mimic it, but Devastation Tide returns all non-land permanents to the hand, and is cheap for its miracle cost, and Evacuation can return all creatures including yours. There are the creatures with a similar ability like Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep for non-sea creature creatures when kicked, Aethersquall Ancient for all creatures except it, and or a conditional enemy only creature bounce through Scourge of Fleets , which relies on having a lot of islands out.
Edit- Noticed Devastation tide was recommended.

Thx for the suggestions. I especially like Devastation Tide especially for its great budget. Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep gave me a few ideas for commander.

River's Rebuke is solid for removing a single player's stuff.

ok I'm 90% sure this is a commander question, there is sadly no comparison to rift anywhere near it's power level in blue, there are plenty of sweepers though, you could do a combo of Paradox Engine Sol Ring , an Isochron Scepter imprinting a Boomerang . though I guess the price range on that would be a few times more than one rift (though anyone who played actively during rtr probably ended up with 4-15 copies of the card in their junk rare folders).

One of the closest things to the rift is Profaner of the Dead , but most people don't know about it for some reason. I love the card, its super useful for many strategies.

I’m an advocate for BIG board wipes. Some people may not be for it, but I shamelessly suggest Worldpurge or Sunder . If not playing edh, Sway of the Stars and Upheaval .

shadow63, which is exactly why I preceded it with “if not playing edh” in the same sentence.

Devastation Tide is always a powerhouse. Can be cast for 2 mana and can bounce everything. Not the same, but really budget!
