Hey all bought a collection off a guy. neither of us noticed this card in there but during sorting i found it... Entropic Specter its a junk card now guessing if it was signed it was used in some deck back in the day?

The big question though does anyone recognize the signature?!

I believe you are right. after digging through some google images of his signature i found a yawgmoth's will he signed and the signatures are the same!

Its one of those kinda cool things to find. I know its not worth anything but hey signatures are always cool.

got another one. I put a white bordered card behind it to show how the corners are different.

I really want this to be alpha but have no clue

Yeah me and my friend always love going to tournaments and getting cards signed and talking to the artists signatures are cool although its definitely an intrinsic thing and not something that everyone should be held down by

well its kind of hard to tell from the picture but if it has the rounded corners differently from other magic carsd and the little triangles in teh corners then its either beta or if it has rounded corners alpha see here for examples

yeah pictures are so hard to show the detail... the corners are definitely different from normal though which leads me to believe alpha.

It's hard to tell with all the corners frayed but it definitely appears to be Alpha... Nice catch sir.
