i also so wonder if someone could help with some rules to. the card Mystifying Maze , exiles a creature then brings it back...do counters fall off? enchantments, equiptment, if the creature exiled has a static ability affecting the battlefield i.e. Nirkana Revenant does the mana ability leave with her? Can you exile a creature wearing Whispersilk Cloak , even tho he is unblockable, exile isnt blocking...help pls...

Sign in Blood is a good option since it gives you cards back and can hopefully undo some discard. I would also just make your deck quicker since a lot of discard decks don't deal with a bunch of creatures really well so you can just overwhelm him with damage.
With your rules question: counters do fall off, enchantments fall off and go to the graveyard, equipment get unequipped. Yes, the effect leaves with Ms. Revenant but of course will come back once she comes back from the Maze. No, you cannot exile a creature wearing a W. Cloak because the cloak gives it shroud, you can't even target it. And just because its unblockable doesn't mean its not attacking. If you somehow took the shroud away, then yes, you could Maze it away.

Bloodghast is the first thing that comes to mind.
If you want to get silly, there's Leyline of Sanctity .

Caveat: I'm not a vamps player. That understood, I'd probably side out the following against discard:
-1 Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet
-1 Liliana Vess
I make these recommendations based on my experience with discard and mill as an aggro player. Again, I'm not a vamps player nor a control guy. Generally, I find it best to beat them senseless with the first cards that stick on the table. So, I'm siding out cards that I think would wait in your hand for too long. The longer they sit in your hand, the more likely they end up in the grave without ever seeing play. Bloodghast gives you a mild aggro option that will get their life total into the red zone faster, so you won't need the big finishers to seal the deal. Taking a few out isn't going to hurt in this match-up.

If your opponent doesn't exile your cards but only makes you discard them (into your graveyard), Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre has proven to be a viable anti-mill counter.
It's price is about three tix, and you only need one in your deck.

Elixir of Immortality is the main card it'd use to counteract any discard control in standard nowadays. barring a Leyline of the Void out in play, you'll not only gain life, but get all your cards back, including your elixir.
Sign in Blood is a beautifully twisted card, useable in a variety of roles. either to get yourself some cards, deal some damage, help set up something like Bloodchief Ascension or play real mean with Underworld Dreams out... gotta love 2 black for 4 dmg. :]
