"Infinite" combos

Well, I am a big fan of finishing with a flourish. What better way to do that than to take a very thick stack of creature toekns, and plop them onto the table, saying "Repeat this many times!"
That is right, I want to see any combos that involve infinity, just put down the names of the required cards, the amount of them needed, and a basic description of how the combo plays out.
It doesn't matter how wacky they are, if you have found a way to break a card or many cards together, put it here!
Can't wait to see what comes up, and I hope this thread is in the front of your mind whenever you see a new combo!

For a combo to be successful, you need to add prevention cards to stop spot removal. Usually this is counters, etc. But now since there is Withstand Death from SOM, I'm using it in my Infinite Elf Ramp deck.
Pretty much rely on Llanowar Elves and Arbor Elf early game for ramp and Nettle Sentinel +lv5Joraga Treespeaker combo. Lots of Harmonize s to draw free cards, and finally using Sprout Swarm bought back a million times for a million green mana and a million tokens. Since it is at instant speed, it makes it easier to use during an opponent's turn also. With the mana, play my favorite Ravnica card, Chord of Calling to search for Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or something just as big and possibly unblockable (Progenitus I am looking at you).

Check out my deck, Near Infinite Damage, Mill, or Pump. Takes a few turns to set up, but once it gets going, it pretty nasty.

@Jarrod_0067: yeah, I actually found a playset of Nettle Sentinel in my collection yesterday, I put them in the maybe board for Saprolinfinity. I was going to use a combo of five Emerald Medallion and Nettle Sentinel to convoke out Sprout Swarm . I honestly never thought about Joraga Treespeaker , but that's pretty cool!

I get how weebs combo works. You play one Faceless Butcher , then another to exile the first one, then play the third causing the second one to exile and bringing the first one back into play, causing the third one to exile bringing the second back into play and on and on it goes. Straight from the gatherer: Three Faceless Butchers cast in succession with no other creatures on the battlefield will result in an infinite loop and the game will be a draw, unless a player somehow interrupts the loop. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=108840

obvious 2Myr Galvanizer s + Palladium Myr combo for infinite mana.
but what you can do from there is use stuff that cost X amount. like Fireball
or throw in a Myr Propagator for an unlimited myr army, or if theres another creature that wont effect your mana combo use Vigil for the Lost for unlimited health
this also means Myr Battlesphere and Chimeric Mass can be potential infinite combos as well.
or with the myr combo use it with Razor Boomerang to infinite razorboomerang use lol

This page hasn't been updated in a while, but it has a TON of infinite combos.
My favorite: Shuko + Daru Spiritualist + Starlit Sanctum . Infinite life OR damage!

@zigkid3 toss a Splinter Twin in there with the myrs and obliterate them with a massive army of infinite myr galvanizers that give each other +infinity/+infinity.
my personal favorite that I built a deck around (Endless Love- it didn't really work out well....) is the Ruin Ghost + Tideforce Elemental + Lotus Cobra and then any creature that gets an agressive landfall ability- Rampaging Baloths, Emeria Angel, even Hedron Crab for death by infinite landfall.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn +Amoeboid Changeling +Wirewood Symbiote =Infinite turns. Also in my elf deck.
A now OU classic: Time Stretch , Time Warp or Walk the Aeons + Splinter Twin & Mnemonic Wall . To make it more fun, add a Cast Through Time , Reverberate and Twincast plus have a LOT of counterspells and even some Divination s if you want to get annoying. How about this! Use it on your opponent and let them mill themselves out! Shrouded and indestructible Platinum Angel to finish them off.

One combo I use in a deck, Saprolinfinity, is a combination of four Vernal Bloom /Emerald Medallion . Tap a forest, you get enough mana to pay a medallion-reduced Sprout Swarm . Play Life and Limb and Concordant Crossroads to get infinite Saproling creature tokens. You can also just use four medallions and the convoke cost for Sprout Swarm , and end up with the same thing. When you are all done, cast Saproling Symbiosis for just as many untapped tokens to attack with for the win. If you haven't noticed, I like saps a lot.

i prefer two-card combos.
- Godsire + Intruder Alarm = Infinite 8/8 creatures
- Panoptic Mirror + Time Warp = Infinite Turns
- card:Painter's Servant + Grindstone = Infinite Mill
I'm terribly sorry if somebody else has already posted these combos, I haven't read this whole article yet

Intruder Alarm and Panoptic Mirror are two of the best combo cards. They work with heaps of stuff

oh yes, Doubling Season , possibly the most versatile combo card
October 23, 2010 7:57 p.m.
brianguymtg says... #23
Yes, Doubling Season works with cards like Pentavus alongside Mana Echoes for infinite creatures and mana. Toss in a "whenever a creature enters the battlefield, gain 1 life" trigger for infinite life, toss in Goblin Bombardment for infinite damage, and add Mind Spring for "infinite" draw. That's all the available infinities, right there!

um' y'all have one small issue in that a well timed evacution pretty much will negate the entire army you have created in one fell swoop

Every creature is in danger of some form of bounce/kill, especially tokens. This is nothing new. But if an opponent is tapped out (lol), then we have nothing to worry about. It is the same with all combos, you just have to protect them.

two of my personnel favorites are: mesmeric orb, gaea's blessing
pulmonic silver, phyrexian arena and necrotic sliver with lots of cheap slivers
an infinite stall combo is arcane laboratory, isocron scepter and memory lapse, i.e. they keep drawing the same card every turn
October 25, 2010 8:49 a.m.
Jarrod_0067 says... #27
2x Isochron Scepter , Silence and Counterspell will keep your opponents unable to play anything for a while.
Isochron Scepter is so broken!
I want 4 :)

@Jarrod_0067: You should take a look at I-so-quit Scepter. That dies some serious stalling while waiting for the combo!

leon_raymond says... #29
thank you necroignis for reminding me of slivers
Sliver Queen + Heart Sliver + Gemhide Sliver + Training Grounds /Heartstone
Sliver Queen 's ability cost's 1 mana thanks to Training Grounds . You play a sliver, that sliver has haste and can tap to produce one mana. You use that mana to produce another sliver token. Repeat
Infinite slivers.
Also, if you have Sliver Legion then they all become infinite/infinite slivers
Good times :)

Splinter Twin under Myr Galvanizer with a mana myr (such as Gold Myr ) on the side, for infinite 1+infinite/+infinite creatures (with haste!) and Splinter Twin under Pestermite for infinite 2/1's (with haste and flying!).
November 3, 2010 7:46 p.m.
I just found that a Grand Architect with a Pili-Pala gives you infinite mana of any colors. Fairly easy to get going fourth turn.
November 7, 2010 9:36 a.m.
brianguymtg, thank you for showing my combo haha. I came up with this combo for my grafting deck and then I put it into my planeswalker deck. By now it's got a lot of exposure, but befor I put it on T/O I searched the interwebz and I couldn't find anyone else who thought of it (or at least shared it to the world).
Yeah Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle + Training Grounds has so many applications. It good for ANYTHING that uses ANY sort of counters and is a game finisher in both my grafting deck and my planewalker deck (Crafting Grafting and I let planeswalkers do the work for me).
Though to note, the original combo was Gilder Bairn + Training Grounds + Citanul Hierophants , which is still the combo I use for my graft deck because it's a creature deck and Citanul Hierophants really helps out. Oh and the credit for switching out Citanul Hierophants for ppoaradize mantle]] goes to SocialistElite.
November 7, 2010 12:05 p.m.
Oh and I didn't see that brianguymtg gave credit to finding it in my deck, haha, my bad. And that you brianguymtg for doing that. :)
November 7, 2010 12:08 p.m.
How about infinate mana and creatures? splinter twin on Myr Galvanizer with a Palladium Myr. Tap the galvanizer to produce a token tap Palladium to produce 2 mana use one to untap all other Myrs... there you go each time you produce a token you also produce an extra mana.

that combo's already somewhere on the list DarkKiba, and besides that, i wouldn't know what i would need infinite mana for if i had an infinite amount of creatures with pow/tuf: 2+infinite-1 / 2+infinite-1... with haste!

November 7, 2010 2:30 p.m.
wouldn't the person you attacking have somesort of counter spell or a negate all damage spell? what would you do than?
November 7, 2010 2:36 p.m.
Savage1988 says... #45
Well, nothing with all the colorless mana you'd get from the Palladium Myr , that's for sure.
November 7, 2010 2:40 p.m.
Yes thats true but lets say you have Spell Contortion which has a converted mana cost of 3(2,U) YOu wouldn't have to tap but one land card which would allow you to play more counters based on the untap lands and untaped mana producers to make a particular color mana. which allows you a more versitle strategy.
November 7, 2010 2:51 p.m.
So what if they prevented all the damage with a spell when you attack with them? There's a thing called an attack phase and you get it every turn, so..... I'd just wait another turn. -_-
November 7, 2010 4:32 p.m.
You could. Now 2 questions. Did you leave the galvanizer untapped and did you leave a mana myr untapped? How are you going to defend against their offensive force?
November 7, 2010 4:38 p.m.
Dude you act like if you don't win that turn you're gona lose next turn, like seriously, chill out.
November 7, 2010 4:51 p.m.
Its questions i ask myself. But your right i do need to chill. (rough weekend)
