Making a zombie deck

I have been getting back into magic, and I have been making a zombie deck.
It is just for playing with my friends (most commonly 1v1). My strategy mostly involves manipulating creatures in the graveyard and having a large number of zombies. My main concern with the deck is that it is pretty large and may be too slow starting out.
Advice is appreciated

My current EDH build Victorious - Masters of Metal is a competitive Esper combo/control deck and I need some more ideas on how to get it even better. I have invested a lot of money into it, and would someday like to bring it to a high level tournament. I have been stuck playing small pods at my LGS, but have lost interest, as most of their decks are designed for a more casual setting.
Some thoughts I have been playing around with are:
Adding Silence for the Isochron Scepter + Silence + Unwinding Clock combo.
Grand Architect + Pili-Pala infinite mana combo (Not sure I need anymore).
Some Dross Scorpion combos.
If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on how I could speed this deck up or make it more consistent they would be greatly appreciated.

SpartanCEL I did actually use
Epochalyptiks Dominus - Dreamcrusher Edition deck as the backbone for another of my EDH decks, then used that as a base for this and made it esper.

Change commanders. Oloro does NOTHING in a competitive atmosphere where combos and lock-outs are the main wincons. Your life is irrelevant. Sharrum would be the first to come to mind, offering lots of 2 card combos for easy wins.

Gspot - if I added Sharuum, what combos should I include with her?

Phyrexian Metamorph/Sculpting Steel when used to copy sharum create a loop where she dies and returns as many times as you want. Disciple of the Vault, Blood Artist and sometimes Falkenrath Noble are used to drain the table from there.

Gspot I chlose Oloro because I never intended to cast any commander. He is the only one that has any static ability from the command zone, so I chose him. If I added Sharuum, I would have to change the whole approach to this deck, and I have it composed for the combs already in place.

I can understand that, but from a comptetitive stabd point it cripples you. I see a few cards you could cut yo fit the sharum peices, if artifact combo is a route you want Sydri is a great commander for that as well.

The +2 life per turn is pretty unimportant in competitive EDH. The vast majority of multiplayer tournament decks are combo-oriented; very little combat and very few damage effects are ever involved.
Also, Oloro, Ageless Ascetic has only been banned in Duel Commander; it's not banned at all in traditional Commander. That part of your primer is incorrect.
Avoid running cards that are useless outside of your combo. Debt to the Deathless may be a good finisher in some cases, but that's all it ever is.
Sharuum the Hegemon is an objectively better combo commander, and it supports a few different combos. You may want to consider redesigning some elements of the deck because you have options that aren't really being utilized. Of course, you're certainly within rights to keep playing Oloro, Ageless Ascetic or another commander.
