Need help with deck - Bazaar Trader/Jinxed Idol

Hello everyone, I've come here asking for advice on what to do with my latest (and most fond) deck idea: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/bazaar-trader-2/

I've tried countless times to make unique deck ideas that hold their own in a tournament setting, but so far to no consistent avail. I feel like i'm really on to something with this deck. The synergy is very nice, but I feel that something really needs to be tweaked just a little more.

I'm trying to avoid the use of any Alara block cards. For one, I'm not made of money and I don't have many of those. I'd also rather not purchase a card that wont be in standard for very long.

Combos include: Bazaar Trader/Jinxed Idol (no sac) Bazaar Trader and Mark of Mutiny/Act of treason (permanent control) Bazaar Trader/Abyssal Persecutor - fun and winning games I can use any creature control cards and either A) sac them for profit, B) take permanent control. Reassemblign skeleton fits perfectly with sarkhan, viscera seer, and jinxed idol.

This deck is just super fun, and I want it to work. In playtesting, my problems seem to be faster decks, life gaining decks, and decks that can also easily sac creatures.

I think that main issue with this deck so far are the mortician beetles - which have had a couple nice plays but not enough to justify them, and the flings. I love the flings with abyssal persecutor, or, if i have the mana, actoftreason/markofmutiny (but i rarely do when i need it). What do you guys think? I feel that maybe something as simple as replacing some beetles with flame slashes might do the trick.

Please help! Thanks!

I'd love to be able to put the Vintage Masters set up for drafting and sealed deck building, is that something that a 'lowly' user like myself can do?

I could see some problem coming up with the "special" rarity of the P9, but while other people figure out how to make that work, I'd be happy to start inputting the commons through mythics based on the leaked rarity list.

To be frank, I have insomnia, so I have a ton of time on my hands to volunteer, and I'm sure that a lot of people would like to be able to practice drafting before the set releases on MTGO.

First you donate to the site, then you have the option to add cards to the database.

Thats how its done.

How much do I have to donate? What's the purpose behind this? I'm flat broke, so I'm going to have to bum money off of people to donate to the site so that I can then donate my time; is there no way around this?

I'm afraid there is no other way around.

Its only like $10, I believe, and its one time, and comes with other perks as well.

Like submitting card fixes, deleting comments, custom username, extra deck cycles, etc.

So upgrading my account (for the $5 minimum) is all I need to do?

I guess it wasn't $10, haha.

I will gladly help adding cards to the set! But somebody must create it first and I don't know how to do that.

VMA has been created.

IMPORTANT: If you're going to add cards, make sure they are 100% correct and complete. No incomplete submissions.

just one question:Is the "wizards multiverse id" necessary when you add a card?

The arts for all the cards although some of the cards still have old artwork.

The Multiverse ID isn't necessary, strictly speaking. But all the information visible on the card needs to be in the system.

Obviously it might be simple to do, but I can't know until I upgrade and start adding cards: what needs to be done differently so that the draft packs take the 10 common / 3 uncommon / 1 rare or mythic / 1 foil or P9 card into account?

Probably just some coding work designed for that set specifically.

Meaning, when adding the cards, you dont need to worry about that.

I'm sorry guys, I don't think I'll be able to do this any time soon. For some reason, my card is being rejected. But there is some good news:http://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/2703ih/vintage_masters_actual_visual_spoiler/

Yeah, it's legit: a visual spoiler of every card as it will appear in VMA
