No, TWC cards are not 'banned'

Like the title suggests, the 6 cards from the Walking Dead Secret Lair were never "banned"... period.
The Commander Rules Committee said ahead of WotC's official announcement that they were going to follow their lead.
Mark Rosewater was asked about this directly over 2 weeks ago, and he confirmed that it is indeed some kind of "glitch" (Source)
Therefore, just like any other new card introduced outside of a Standard-legal set, it's legality would ultimately be limited to the Type-1/Eternal formats (Vintage & Legacy), and Commander (and it's variants).
Can someone please fix this?
The post is because the Gatherer was listing the TWC cards as not legal in any format. Looks like its been fixed though: Lucille at The Gatherer.

Xianling69 I don't follow him either but the information was everywhere once it was clarified. Even right off the bat (there's definitely a Lucille joke to be made here) it was evident that something wasn't right since there wasn't a ban announcements from WotC.
