Open Day at LGS

Today my LGS held an Open Day today where people could come along and learn Magic.
I went because I like teaching people how to play.
About eight new players showed up.
Once they had learned to play there was a Casual tournament. Some just played with the free starter decks they had been given, but quite a few had bought Planeswalkers decks.
Some of the new players seemed to really enjoy the games they had and wanted to find out information on how they could play regularly.
I'd call the day a success. I certainly had a lot of fun. It was great to be able to give my Chandra Planeswalker deck another spin.
Homura_Akemi I had the Nissa deck as well, which is out of character for me as I hate
In hindsight I should have played that one as the Chandra deck has a lot of Vehicles. They proved to be a very tricky concept for the new Players to get their head around.

Mine had one in April before the release of Amonkhet and it seemed like some new players showed up, although I haven't seen any of them since. Congrats on your good day though! I would never have expected you to have the Chandra planeswalker deck sarcasm
