Anyone pick up secret lair? I can't wait for mine to come in. The heavy metal cards are sweet
I decided to order the non foil set of 4 of them. I can't help myself. The Seb Mckinnon art is fantastic, I must have Bob Ross lands, And the concert tshirt shred harder cards are hysterical.
And I refuse to do a search for how many really playable rares I could buy on the secondary market instead of these secret lairs.

MagicMarc, yeah im not looking. Its too bad the set of 4 comes with the rocks secret lair cuz it seems pretty boring. I'm getting the set of four.

I went for the 100 dollar non foil bundle. I do want the squirrel token so I hope I can get the token later

Realizing that I can't just get one of each in a single order kind of killed my desire for any of these Secret Lairs, as I would probably find a use for all the cards. Never change, Wizards.
At the very least I think these drops are much better about having cards people will use than some of the previous superdrop ones.

As much as I dislike the marketing method for Secret Lairs, both the Seb McKinnon and Party Hard, Shred Harder sets are amazing, so I will attempt to acquire singles from them at some point in the future. Hopefully, if the McKinnon one sells well, it shall encourage sets from other artists, most notably Raymond Swanland, Steve Argyle, Rebecca Guay, Ron Spencer, Wayne Reynolds, Todd Lockwood, and Thomas M. Baxa; it is unfortunate that WotC no longer commissions artwork from Terese Nielsen, because a Secret Lair with her artwork would be guaranteed to sell well.

About Terese Nielsen; I actually greatly admired her work in the past but her views are pretty controversial and Wizards has made it clear they don't support her kind of thinking. I even think they made a statement that they will not be reprinting her art on any card besides no longer giving her commissions.
And, if true, I have to agree with them.

MagicMarc the wotc art dept is picky as fuck. It shouldn't matter what the artists think, remember at one time they wouldn't let Rebecca Guy make cards be wise she refused to draw big anime titties

I must admit, the "Seb McKinnon" and Party Hard, "Shred Harder" are each amongst my favourites ever released. Thereupon, I could not resist.
