My wife wants to do a quarter sleeve of something really awesome from magic. There are tons of good ones but im interested in ones that are not the run of the mill. What's out there that's worthy of being inked?

I'd say something not demonic. A few that she likes so far are Pacifism, Platinum Angel, Swords to Plowshares.

Bitterblossom, Spellstutter Sprite, Wurmcoil Engine, Mayael the Anima, Baleful Strix, Darksteel Colossus
These are personal favorites of course, but good contenders.
just find out what she's really into, and If all else fails try some terese nielsen/ rebecca guay art. they're both absolutely gorgeous :)
and the Platinum Angel you mention works really well as an arm or leg tattoo, so that would be a good one to choose.

Its_Johnny_Bravo,
What are her favorite colors? Or is she just looking for something generally cool-looking?

If it's in color, both Baleful Strix and Mayael the Anima are sweet-looking.

The infamous Black Lotus is very tattoo worthy in my opinion.

Anything that Rebecca Guay illustrated would be a good translation into a tattoo, her style carries over into the the tattoo world very well.

Golgari Rot Farm and Gravecrawler are probably not ideal, to help you take some cards off the list. Full art lands would be cool, like the bowl islands from Zendikar.
But actually, in black and white, I'd do Emeria Shepherd. That looks pretty awesome.

Or for a whole quarter sleeve just do like 15 different goblin or elf cards...

In black and white, I'd say an extension of Twilight Shepherd would look good.

What is your wife into MtG wise? That will have a bearing on what would be worthy.
