That comment was posted in 2013, 3 years before Eldritch Moon was released on Gatherer. Link to the page here: MTG-Gatherer

Context: Flame Slash was reprinted in the Sorin vs. Tibalt Duel Decks during the original Innistrad block, which is why the comment was made referring to the flavor text.

I hope everyone else's dead sarcastic jokes on gatherer are buried deep in their respective comments section, because this is why we can't have nice things.
