Hey guys.
I'm wondering... should I split this forum up into different parts yet?
Lots of forums have different sections but I only want to make new sections as they become relavent. What do you think?
A) Keep things how they are. Its all in one place and convenient!
B) Make a new forum! This place is getting too cluttery!
I don't think its active enough yet to split into different forums. Probably in a couple weeks once there are like 30 posts a day or something it'd be good to split them.

I myself favor a bit of cleanup. But then you probably guessed by my various posts in the past that I like things nice and organized. Kinda funny really considering the current state of my desk....but now i am off topic
My thoughts. 1 section for new announcements for stuff like new features, new articles on the main page, new challenges etc. Stuff communicated from admins to the populace here.
Next folder General stuff most of the things currently would fit under that.
Finally an archive where we can find old posts and threads that no one is really looking at or commenting on anymore. This is where all those create your own cards things would go.

Hmm, never hurts to be tidy and organised me thinks. If I was god on this forum, I would suggest the following...
Section 1. Announcements and news - Things that are happening and articles for us average folk
Section 2. Deck Talk - All things deckwise. Stragety and tactics and talk about the meta game could go here
Section 3. Tourney Talk - For those who wanna brag or talk about anything from local FNM to Pro Tour shinnanigans.
Section 4. Off Topic conversations - Anything non-magic related? Like that awfully funny Kirsten Dunst music Video? :)
No matter which way ya do things yeaGO! my backing will be behind choice b) :)

Have a thought though not for the forum...
Is it possible to set up a fav link for when your lookin' at decks. So that ya can go back to it instead of trying to rely on remembering the name of it or copying it?

cardcoin, when you look @ a deck you can subscribe to it (option appears at the bottom by the comments). Your subscriptions are saved in Settings>Manage subscriptions. That's how you can "favourite" things :).

I am thinking a 'Deck Help' forum but I'm afraid the only people who would visit it are people needing help.

I'm sure that type of forum would draw a lot of attention from the T/O members who are already used to helping out other people on the site; not just the people who need help.

I again suggest breaking things out. I believe announcements / challenges, should get their own spot. everything else its own spot, and then a spot for deck stuff sounds good to me as well.

Is it possible to include a section with 'most popular posts' or 'most viewed posts' or something like that? I don't know how difficult the logistics of creating a section like that would be.
I actually don't mind it being 'cluttered' as it is right now, but I'm backing b).

Thornbite Staff would allow you to sweep creatures, but not much else.
Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura can prolong the cycle.

You don't have any options in mono-black. You have to splash another color just to make it somewhat sustainable. Thornbite Staff is the only exception, to my knowledge.

The combo I suggested works without March of the Machines, but then the Spine can only hit creatures. If you really want to kill everything, you have to splash. March is only one blue to cast, though. You could do something as simple as two islands and three Evolving Wilds

Alright, thanks guys. I was looking to make this happen in a mono-black EDH deck, but being able to sweep the board and lock down with Sheoldred, Whispering One at the general seat is still very appealing. Thanks for the help.
