I've seen it around but I'm clueless about it x.xI've very new to magic, by the way. I started last February and even though I've learned a lot, I'm still in the dark about the finer points of rules and styles.

It's a modern deck where you use The Rack and Shrieking Affliction plus a ton of hand discard effects to kill your opponent, while protecting yourself with cards like Liliana of the Veil and Ensnaring Bridge. The name comes from the fact that you are running 8 "Rack" effects, Shrieking Affliction being 5-8.

8-Rack is a Modern deck that utilizes The Rack and Shrieking Affliction and uses discard spells to strip the opponent's hand and deal damage to them with the 8 The Rack effects (which is how the deck got its name).

8-rack is a play style where you are forcing your opponent to discard their cards with effects like Thoughtseize or Liliana of the Veil then chipping their health down with "rack" effects such as The Rack.
