What to do with basic lands

So, I have now whittled down my collection to 416 basic lands. 119 Swamps, 70 Plains, 75 Islands, 123 Forests, and 29 Mountains. Besides using them as kindling, are there any interesting ideas as to what I could use them for? Thanks!
Card destruction challenges? Unless they're snow-covered. That's just sick.

Proxies.
Start building a cube and use them as a supply.
Chop-Chop.
Non-tournament legal alters (proxies).

I wouldn't say "happy." More like, they will cause they can.
But if it's anything like my LGS, they're already sitting on more than 15k basics from any era of Magic you could dream of.

Well, I speak from experience here. My LGS opened up a little while ago in a small country town so whatever lands they put out for people are often all they have.

3D life counters. You will need 5-6 of the same art depending on how many layers there are and how detailed you want to get on the 3D. The rest of the lands to be used don't need to have matching art since you are just using the border bits.

Whoa some of those craftsy things look sweet. Now the question is how lazy am I....

At 0.50$ per island, you almost have $40 worth of them alone :P Find a buyer, hahaha

GL finding anyone who will pay 50 cents per basic. They are pretty much worthless to most players. You get 100 in a deck builder's toolkit and those are only $20. Toolkits contain 4 packs, 108 semi-random cards and 100 basic lands. Assuming a dollar for the box and half of the value being in each the lands and the bulk commons and uncommons in the semi-random that is $1.50 for 100 lands or about 1.5 cents each. If they are full art basics that is a different story.

Build a Cube. On top of proxies you actually want about 50 of each basic just to have sleeved and sitting in a box to speed up deck building.

Also this makes me seriously reconsider my life choices that you are "looking for something to do" with 416 lands. I have close to 3,000 and have never felt the need to do something with them.

The problem with a lot of these suggestions is that you're assuming I either have more cards or want more cards. My entire collection has been reduced to these 416 lands, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with them haha.
Gidgetimer: My entire collection (including the aforementioned basic lands) barely cracked 3000 before I sold it all.

Oh wow, thought it was "culling the basics" not "getting out of the game". So you have no use for a life counter at all. This changes things. The same person who had directions on the ornaments also had directions for boxes and notebooks (and other things but those were the 2 I liked best lol)

Nah, it's not "getting out of the game", I'm just trying to eliminate everything I don't use, which will end up being everything but a single standard deck. But I don't intend on using them for buying more decks and using them in those, or making a cube or anything. So, I do have use for a life counter, which is why I like that idea.

DERPLINGSUPREME: Which basics do you find to be most flavorful?

Get a bunch of Forests, make a giant Christmas tree.
Lol I was joking when I said you use them for kindling.
The best thing to do is choose your favotive basic, and try to collect one from each set they were printed. It's a fun way to use your basics, because at least for me, looking at different set symbols is very intriguing!

I vote 3D counters. Completely impractical but very beautiful.

@Wabbbit well with the guru lands you get a lot more out of each bite, but seeing as how the overconsumption of them has caused them to be expensive I'd suggest full art new zendikar or time spiral.

ducttapedeckbox: Alright, I'll send all my basics to you and you can do them for me. Deal? Deal.

I like to stack basics in piles of 70 and align them perfectly before compressing them under a heavy book. After a few days of this I put rubber bands around them, but not super tight in any one spot, and then put them in a rental storage unit in the hottest parts of the month inside old fatpack boxes. You have to take them out when it's really humid or colder. You want the heat and the acidity of the boxes they are being stored in to melt the ink and damage the cards so the combined forces of that plus the oil from being handled by humans makes them stick together.
Once all that's done and I take them out and compress them again. Once that's done I use something like gorilla glue to form a layer around every side so that I have bricks of death I use to beam people in the head. Unlike soap this projectile is less likely to break.
Also if you keep one in your shirt pocket you can use your arms to gudie an attackers knife into the brick. The knife will either deflect into your sternum, the artery near your armpit, or break through one layer of glue and get slowed down by the cards. Either way your chances of survival have gone up!
You could also just donate them to new players.

My girlfiend and I were short a poker deck one day, and I have them practically falling out my butt so we grabbed a pen and....
My only regret is that we didn't use better handwritting to make it look better, and that you always have to leave out one color if you make it.(ok I guess black can be the joker)

Donate them to your local LGS. They're always happy to take lands for FNM's, prereleases, and other events.
