I mean, it doesn't really need to remote to humans fighting titans. Just a card that made you "Whoa!" when first setting eyes on it.

For me, it was Murmuring Mystic

As soon as I saw Void Winnower, I fell in love with the art :)

@Hyato that is great art, and along those lines you must love the masterpiece Daze!

I just built Etali, Primal Storm as a casual commander, and that's an art that made me go whoa the first time I saw it. Theres a foil promo version with all the mana symbols as a watermark behind the text. Very cool

I'm one of the few who enjoyed Battle for Zendikar and Eldritch Moon. I do like the eldrazi look, personally. I pulled Thought-Knot Seer as my prerelease promo and it looks insane in foil! I like a lot of the kozilek brood specifically

Honestly I'd have to look back thru my 16 edh decks to find a favorite, but those are two off the top of my head that went Wow

This is always a topic I enjoy commenting on and seeing what people's opinions are.... I think the "wow cool art" thought comes across every player in this game now and then and probably a factor into what got them playing to begin with.

I remember my older brother had cards that I used to look through when I was a kid before I new how to play and a few I still remember were Phyrexian Walker, Memory Lapse and Brainstorm all around the 5th edition timeframe/artwork.... and some kinda drake (blue dragon thing) that I thought was cool too but I cant remember the name!

As far as more recent cards that I have collected as an adult and made me say/think "woah... cool" I think Bearer of the Heavens certainly is worth a mention.

Not just a recency bias, but I fell in love with Ashiok, Nightmare Muse as soon as I first saw it. Everything about that art speaks to me.

I’ve always loved Empyrial Archangel it looks like art you’d see in a monastery or a cathedral.

I recently had this with Thantis, the Warweaver. It can't be seen as it's part of the foiling, but her whole body isn't foil, but the web and her eyes are, so when you look at the art from 45 degrees, her eyes stare at you from the dark. Such beauty!

Anything by Seb McKinnon, but esp Entomb from the ultimate masters set

I was really excited about Admiral Beckett Brass. The art really conveys the romantic version of pirates with the wind in your sails and the spray of the sea. I was beyond excited to build a pirate EDH with the plethora of awesome pirates they were going to print. Unfortunately I was rather let down in that regard, but the art with it's vibrant colors still wins.

After that, there is something magical about the art for Baleful Strix the entire card is so cohesive. Stunner for sure.

I find Raymond Swanland’s style does it for me. The wild, chaotic feel of the Immersturm...Warstorm Surge, Devastation Tide, Faith's Reward.

(Note; Etali, Primal Storm and Ashiok, Nightmare Muse are also Swanland works.)

Oh man... so, so many choices.

Infernal Harvest, Breath of Dreams, Kyscu Drake, Moonlit Wake, Horrible Hordes, Cateran Overlord... all got me good.

I just found a copy of Gold-Forged Sentinel while organizing old cards and it looks stunning (despite the useless attributes). It reminds me Knights of the Zodiac somehow with the golden armors and the stars on the background. I guess that's a new constellation though. An offspring from Aries and Sagittarius

I have always loved the art on Open the Armory. Just the over-sized crossbow that looks like it fires bear traps to hunt Eldrazi and turned angles such as Gisela, the Broken Blade just does it for me If you can find a high quality picture it really looks good.

In terms of epicness, nothing beats the highlight art of last alara set, Conflux - where bolas casually grabs the whole plane's power for himself.
