They're good stories, about good guys that have been put in terrible situations, who find a way to defeat evil given form. They give people the hope and courage to stand up and fight for what's right, and to oppose evil, wherever it might be.

Yeah people if you're just gonna constantly throw lore at Bolas to try to "best" him, that becomes old very quickly.
Not really in the spirit of things.

All of you guys are losing it, when you look without your eyes, you'll see that man is or whatever you want it to be. Color is unimportant, true power lies in the colorless. That's why we have 2 Circle against Colorless and only 1 for each color. But if we must speak of color, let's not bring up trash, instead, let us speak of Power and Knowledge. Let us show our enemies why they should tremble, let us show them why they should fear us. Bring your best fighter and watch it fall.

You're daft if you think Tarmogoyf is our best fighter. Our best fighter varies with the situation. Sometimes it'll be Carnage Tyrant, sometimes Worldspine Wurm. We're in a Privileged Position, where our devout Asceticism shields us from your worst machinations. Nice try, but Akroma is white, and even if she were red, she'd probably be afraid of getting stung

And that's the result of stooping to your level. When we partner with other colors we can evict you from your Privileged Position. IT"S THE OUR MARKET RESEARCH SHOWS THAT PLAYERS LIKE REALLY LONG CARD NAMES SO WE MADE THIS CARD TO HAVE THE ABSOLUTE LONGEST CARD NAME EVER ELEMENTAL Slap on some Wordmail then sit back and enjoy some good ol'fashion Graphic Violence as we swing for 28+ trample damage.
And really isn't that what green is all about?

Bolas good luck with your 7 mana boardwipe against Carnage Tyrant. It'll be out by turn 4, your silly grixis control will crumple before it, especially when it is combined with other cards like Samut. Itll eat you alive. Does it bother you that none of your abilities can deal with a tyrant? like you'll ever get to -12 with it on the battlefield.
It is litterally your worst nightmare. You want to kill in effectively in grixis you pretty much NEED Bontu's Last Reckoning imo. I guess white has Fumigate for a boardwipe that doesn't take to long

has Hexproof, Shroud, Indestructible, Regenerate, and 'can't be countered' in its wheel house, so your targeted destruction spells, effects, board wipes, and counters get a whole lot less effective.

Fumigate is even better, but does seem to be cheaply costed for
Still, I'm not gonna complain about having access to two board wipes on Turn 3.

Ryjo you don't need board wipes when you can just play River's Rebuke, then hit for lethal due to your Opponent having no blockers.

Fumigate cost friend... I know you can't see it because you are blind to all things not yourself, but you will never be able to cast such a spell anyway, because you're all talk!

While River's Rebuke is still on the stack, can make my creatures fight yours. can also flash in creatures to surprise your attackers in combat. Or can make your creatures lost in a Fog.
If you're going to use 3 colors, then I'll back up my goodness with my good pals and . If River's Rebuke resolves, then I'll Settle the Wreckage, or Path to Exile, or Swords to Plowshares. And has some pretty good burn options to destroy your creatures as well, or just ignore them and send it all your way.

I may be Unhinged Bolas, borderline Unstable. But even I'm not insane enough to want to work for you. I know how you Grixis folk work with your Cruel Ultimatums and your Dark Intimations if you want a minion try calling up my Evil Twin I'm sure you would get along great.
As for me however I am a proud mage I run wild with the Pack fighting along side All My friends. Bring your reckonings and your Extinctions For when the time comes nature will shield us with a mighty intervention. We will Slice in Twain your places of power and Feast upon your False gifts. Be afraid for soon we will Overcome You and all your Allies .
