Why is Cloudpost a thing if there are only 2 cards (including Cloudpost) that are the locus type? (The other is Glimmerpost)

Vesuva.

You also underappreciate just how much mana Cloudpost generates once you have multiple lands in play.

Vesuva, Crop Rotation, Exploration, Sylvan Library etc. It's really easy in legacy to not only play but find lots of copies of your locus lands.

12 Post is a legit build. Baically it's 4x Cloudpost, 4x Glimmerpost, 4x Vesuva and a bunch of land support. It's basically the big brother of tron and one of the few decks that can actually hard cast an Emerakul (without first cheating in an Omniscience).

My mana ramp deck can also hard cast Emerakul lol (I'm not 100% settled on what big beefy monsters I want to use but the rest of it is all in place) Kiora, Master of the Depths Deck

But yeah, I get the point you are all trying to make =) Thanks for your answers!
