Will there Ever Be a Blue/Green Variant of Llanowar Elves?

Llanowar Elves is one of the most iconic cards in this game, so it naturally has produced numerous variants, some of which are also mono-green and others of which are multicolored.
Among those creatures, Steward of Valeron is a green/white variant, Zhur-Taa Druid and Radha, Heir to Keld are red/green variants, and both Llanowar Dead and Deathrite Shaman are black/green variants, but there has not yet been a blue/green variant of it, so I do hope that WotC eventually prints such a card.
What does everyone else say about this? Will there eventually be a blue/green variant of Llanowar Elves ?

Perhaps something like this?
Llanowar Merfolk
Creature - Merfolk Druid
:Add . Scry 1.
Llanowar's rivers conceal ancient magic, wielded by merfolk who stray from the sea.

There are actually quite a few along those lines (excluding the creatures that tap for one of any color or one of any color a land could produce/untap land):
U/G that tap for U/G:
U/G that taps for mana:
G that tapps for U/G/X:
Taps for U:
I'm sure there are more

Mj3913, SP3CTR3_chelts, I completely forgot about Maraleaf Pixie and Gyre Engineer , because of how new they are.; if I had remembered them, I would not have even needed to make this thread.

fair enough, I would be interested in a 1 cost green card that tapped for 1 blue or vise versa. Kind of like Avacyn's Pilgrim

Mj3913 agreed! I was kinda hoping for one in rivals when ixaln had come out. Maybe even a restricted one Like:
Imaginative name {G}
creature - merfolk
{T}: Add U . Spend this mana only to cast a merfolk spell.

SP3CTR3_chelts, why is Noble Hierarch so much more expensive than is Urborg Elf ? Do exalted and its lower mana cost really make that much of a difference?

They really do, the lower mana cost generally means you can win a turn earlier in combo decks and be that much more aggressive in other decks. In addition the exalted enables threats that would not normally pressure a player to pressure there lifetotal especially in duplicats.
for example in my deck my turn 2 win requires a Noble Hierarch or a Birds of Paradise .( Leyline of Abundance on the battlefield to start turn 1 land into NH/BoP turn 2 land into Freed from the Real
Having said that Noble Hierarch is not needed to make a fun playable deck. However, I would recommend Arbor Elf over Urborg Elf as he can still untapp breeding pools and the reduced mana cost is very important.
