Linky.

Greg Leeds was apparently nearing his 60's, meaning retirement. Look for changes in the future.

Good riddance. Leeds was a bland suit anyways lol

Of note, the article mentions that Wizards plan on having a stronger digital presence in the future. They may have plans to make MTGO a larger part of Magic.

Curious to see what changes this brings.

Also don't mean to be the immature one, but going through grade school must've been interesting with that last name.

And changes did indeed come, as modern pro tour is cut, and pros no longer gain income.

I'll be making an article over at The Meadery detailing about the why's of this. Remember, Hasbro communicating with the new president is likely the reason why.

It should be noted that WotC already reversed the decision to cut the platinum player benefits and is going to keep the appearance fees as they are for the proposed 2016-2017 season.

The platinum status $3,000 has been put back for the coming 2016/2017 season. After that it will probably be cut.

@ChiefBell Just keep on playing AD&D, they can't change what they've already published!

April 27, 2016 7:26 a.m.

I only play 3.5 and Advanced 2nd Ed anyways. Lol

I didn't know you could fuck up D&D. Thought it was unfuckupable.

@Femme_Fatale 3.5 made players too powerful. 4 completely overhauled the entire system and made things far too rigid, it also took a lot of the role playing out of the game.

I personally like 3.5 the most, even though it's also likely the most broken.
