Don't want to be screwed by one card

I was wondering if I should run basic Plains, Swamps, and Forest one of each so I can stay safe from Blood Moon in my legacy deck Inquisition of Maverick. Blood Moon is the one card that I know will screw me over. Though I can be safe with Deathrite Shaman but that'll last me for so long.

With so few people playing blood moon decks (in my area, if you see it all the time, disregard), it seems to me like you should just accept that as a bad matchup.

You should always, ALWAYS run at least one or two basic lands in a 3-color deck. Not only for Blood Moon, but also to at least get some compensation for getting Path to Exiled (though Legacy players like to use Swords to Plowshares instead, I believe). In fact, if Blood Moon is a thing in your meta, you should consider running less Ravnica duals, less one-purpose nonbasics (Bojuka Bog, Shizo, Dryad Arbor) and more fetchlands.

You should always have basics to help against Wasteland anyway. Play at least Swamp and Forest to have Decay mana.

Can you please not use words like rape in these kinds of contexts?
Always run 1-2 of each basic and then with mana dorks you can be able to cast hate cards like Krosan etc more easily

I apologize LeaPlath I hope screwed would be exceptional, if not, I'll change it again. Thank you everyone for the tips.

Since you aren't running any basics, yeah probably. Or at least a Swamp and a Forest for Abrupt Decay to deal with Blood Moon.
