Engineering my vampire deck
Legacy Deck Help forum

This is my vampire deck Deathtouch Lifelink. I'm really satisfied with it except for minor details. I was wondering if grim tutor is an appropriate card for this deck, since it's not a combo deck. Basically I just need help figuring out which cards to take out and which to put in. Any advice would be helpful really.

I was planning on trying this deck out in competetive legacy tournaments. I can definitely expand my budget for this deck, I have no problem with that. What do you think would be some good cards to include in this deck?

I'm sorry to tell you this, but IMHO your deck is too weak to compete in a real Legacy meta...
There is no synergy in the deck other than equip stuff and ping with deathtouch and that is not enough as it's a very slow and grindy strategy that won't hold up against a diverse field, legacy decks are fast and have ways to disrupt your plans, if you're spending your whole turn2 tapping for gifted aetherborn in Legacy you'll be easy prey...
you'll have a hard time against the most iconic cards on the format: daze, FoW, FoN, fatal push, bolt, StP, etc...
Unless you're dead set about vampires, I'd tell you to let go of this deck and try for something like Pox if you wanna stay in Mono black, otherwise you're just signing in for a lot of frustration

What's your budget and what level of play are you interested in?
The Grim Tutor and equipment package isn't going to keep up with the legacy meta, if you're looking to play on a competitive level.
