Okay, so I've been playing some games on MTGO with the version that won the latest SCG Open, and I haven't been doing all that well. And it seems like that stems from me having problems with both the technical aspects of playing the deck and with sideboarding. What can I do to improve?

Asking general questions will lead to getting general answers. I suggest reading a sideboard guide for sideboarding.

What specific plays/decks do you have trouble with?

Goldfish a lot first. Make sure you know how to go off. Then practice against less interactive decks (Burn, Elves, Goblins) and work your way up to the harder matchups.

What glistener said. Legacy is 75% knowing the deck and its match ups, how to play out the deck and what to look for against the field. Then you can look at decks you don't do well against and form your specific sideboard from there. I'd start by worrying about going off consistently then learning what sideboard answers you need from there.
