I realised i had almost all cards for this deck so i figured i could try playing it for a while. So far i think its a fun deck, and i win my fair share of games.
All you stoneblade players out there, check out my deck. Is there anything you would change? Any wise words for a beginner?
(I dont have the lands to support a black splash)

Something I noticed, why plateau? I assume it's because of an availability issue with 2-3 volcanics.4 truename seems high especially with a MB clique, I loved running snappy in multiples. Sword of fire and ice feels like a SB card. Unlike DnT you can fight over True name while it's on the stack or race it. I don't like the leylines in the side, mulling into it against storm just lets them go for an empty kill while you have a bad hand, and I doubt burn is that large of a problem to warrant 1/5th of your sideboard being only for it. I like flusterstorm to fight over stifles from certain delver decks, and just be an all around insane card. And stifle doesn't belong in this deck. Period.

EndStepTop, yes the 2 plateau is a poor mans Volcanic Island 2 and 3.
Ok, maybe 3 TNN and 2 snapps? I really like the card advantage of SoFaI, and its nice to have a backup to Jitte.

That's what I ran. I'd sometimes find a spot for a 3rd snappy, flashing back counter magic and clocking combo decks feels so good, and he can gum up the board for creature decks.

Im considering removing the red. Its just for the 3x Lightning Bolt. Adding 2x Vendilion Clique and a 3rd Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Would this improve the deck, or is Lightning Bolt better? Would you add something other than Clique and Jace?

I feel having red for side board pyroblast is relevant. Blood moon to deal with eldrazi/lands/bug is also a consideration. I think mb bolts help with other creature decks too, but I can't say clique and Jace are bad in a deck with SFM.

I really dislike having 4 True Name Nemesis AND a Vendilion Clique. That's too many three drops for me. I would really, really suggest dropping a V Clique and a TNN for two more snapcasters. Drop the VClique to the board. The VClique isn't going to save you against combo, and you aren't looking to interact with them since you're running TNN. At the very least, add a snapcaster, run 4 TNN and drop the clique.
I would also drop a ponder or two for more countermagic. A second Counterspell wouldn't be bad. Ponder is a fine card, but it's mostly used to find combo pieces. You aren't a combo deck.
You should also be running a Wear//Tear in the sideboard if you're bothering to splash red.

Ok. I took out one True-Name Nemesis and one ponder. Added one Counterspell and one Snapcaster Mage.
Now, the question is: with 3x True-Name Nemesis and 1x Vendilion Clique as evasive creatures, would just 4x True-Name Nemesis be better since its "more evasive". Or is clique worth keeping for the Karakas shenanigans?

Would it be viable to play Stifle mainboard? Maybe 3 Stifle instead of 3 Lightning Bolt making it U/W only? Or does Stifle belong to the side?
