Legacy Deck Help forum

I've built a home brew :

What cards would you remove and what cards would you add. I'm trying to make it more consistent and I have an idea of what to cut, but I have no clue what to add and I want to ask you guys' opinions on what to do.

Do you intend to play in Legacy tournaments or are using the Legacy B&R list as a guide? Are you playing casually or competitively?

I don't play Legacy but I do have limited familiarity with the format. Have you played much of the format?

Your list looks very slow compared to what's out there at the competitive level. Casting things like Beast of Burden or even Thopter Spy Network is going to be difficult when your opponent is dedicated to Show and Telling Emrakul or Griselbrand, or playing enough countermagic to deny most of your plays.

The power of blue decks often relies on a set of Force of Will and enough draw power to keep your hand full with Ponders in addition to Brainstorms.

I recommend checking out mtgtop8 to see what you're up against.

I've played a couple of tournaments and the majority of the decks at the place I play are slow enough where it looks like I have a chance. I've been thinking about cutting a few cards and adding in Birds of Paradise and mana Elves just to get me to that higher mana cost.
