Help with reanimator creature base

I understand why most of the creatures in reanimator are there, but why is there such few variation between decks. Why is it better to play a playset of Griselbrand, when you could have other creatures like Ob Nixilis, Unshackled or Ruric Thar, the Unbowed that would hinder your opponents when they try to search their library, or cast non creature spells?

Griselbrand is a 7/7 so he threatens to end the game in 3 attack steps. He gains you life. He is legendary. He draws you 7 cards. This lets you dig into Force of Will and similar spells to protect him. He is good in every match up.

Thar is good in elves but lack luster in reanimator. Obby is good but they just Swords him and move on.

Elesh Norn, Iona and Grave Titan are good because they just crush some decks or provide a sticky body that midrange decks csnt deal with.
