New to Legacy (Want to build a Legacy deck around Emrakul)
Legacy Deck Help forum

So, I'm new to Legacy. I play mostly EDH with a couple friends, and Modern and Standard. I don't know what it takes to build a Legacy deck, all I know is that it costs a lot of money to do so. I do want to build one around Emrakul when I get one, cuz I love Eldrazis.

Well, there are many ways to go about it. One is Omnitell, where you use both Omniscience and Show and Tell to get Emrakul into play. Another is Sneak and Show where you use Show and Tell and Sneak Attack to cheat Emrakul into play. The last one that I know of which is T1 is actually Elves because they make a ton of mana which is sometimes used to cast Emrakul.
Hope this Helps.

Omni-Tell is a contender for best deck in the format, and as described above, uses Show and Tell to cheat Omniscience into play and chain cantrips to find a Cunning Wish for Eladamri's Call for Emrakul or a different kill with Firemind's Foresight.
Sneak and Show is a bit more aggressive, using Sneak Attack in addition to Show and Tell to cheat out Emrakul or Griselbrand.
Elves no longer plays Emrakul.

That's a Modern deck. In Legacy, Reanimator tries to Entomb and Reanimate/Exhume a fatty, though Emrakul is very rarely a part of the suite of large creatures for that deck because it lacks instant-speed reanimation spells.

Emrakuel tends to see play in various Show and Tell deck variants which are control decks that aim to cheat out either Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Griselbrand to create massive cards advantage.
If your highly interested in playing eldrazi while aimimng for a more budgeted intro into legacy then I recommend building a 12 post deck which plays somewhat similar to midrange decks in other formats with large colorless eldrazi such as emrakul, kozilek, and ulamog as finishers along with a play set of Primeval Titan. The deck is usually played in either simic, selesnaya, or bant coloration with the selesnaya build primarily being the cheaper but more risky build. The deck's primary goal is to assemble large numbers of locus lands such as Cloudpost, Glimmerpost, Vesuva, Thespian's Stage etc to produce large amounts of mana while running a small amount of interaction to remain alive long enough to search for and play their win cons with cards such such as Eye of Ugin, and Ancient Stirrings along with some cantrips in blue variations with cards such as Crop Rotation, Expedition Map and prime time allowing the player to search for eye of ugin to serch for a win con. The optimal out come for the deck is to go infinite with Karakas, and emrakuel. Outside of its win conditions and search methods the common interactive cards in the deck tend to be Swords to Plowshares in variants containing white, Daze and or Force of Will in blue varinats depending on the exact build and Glacial Chasm in all variants of the deck, Rishadan Port and Wasteland are also common editions in most builds.
Outside of show and tell variants and 12 post emrakuel and other eldrazi are usually never played as other decks that might manage to play them such as elfs tend to prefer to run Progenitus as it can be cheated into play with Natural Order as an alternative to Craterhoof Behemoth depending on the match up and reanimation strategies can't use emrakuel due to the fact that it shuffles back into the library when dumped into the yard.

The mono blue version of the deck is a lot cheaper, because you don't have to buy Volcanic Islands. Plus it's really good, it just won the SCG legacy Open last weekend. Which means it was on camera a few times if you want to watch how it plays.

While this is not an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn deck per say, it is one of the win-cons of the deck. I love playing my Tin-Fins but if its your only deck or your new to Legacy it might get boring unless you build it out to be a normal Reanimator deck aswell.
It's a pussle deck where you need to find the correct lines to winning. Sometimes that is hitting them with Emmy, othertimes you storm the out with Tendrils. I have even killed my opponent with Griselbrand beatdown after a hardcast.
I really recommend Tin-Fins as a first stop if your building towards a Reanimator deck, but if your looking for longer grindier games with more interaction on your part then I don't think that it's the right fit. 12-Post is a better deck if you want to play a more "midrange" deck with Emmy and PrimeTime as your win-cons.
My Tin-Fins deck for reference:TinFins

Show and Tell is probably your best option. A control shell that uses its namesake card to cheat out Omniscience and Spaghettis. But I'm by no means a legacy specialist.
