EMA spoilers are looking pretty good so far, except that Worldgorger Dragon at mythic. So i decided to do a Worldgorger Dragon combo deck so i wont be as disappointed if i open one :).
Im not that familiar with the combo. Animate Dead on Worldgorger Dragon lets you bounce all your permanents any amount of times, giving you any amount of mana and etb triggers.
What can be done with this? Snapcaster Mage seems fun, he gives all your instants and sorceries flashback and thats nice with infinite mana.
Oona, Queen of the Fae exiles your opponents library.
What would be the best Worldgorger Dragon deck?
Here's my Worldgorger list

I use Oona, Queen of the Fae as a win-con, but also have a backup of Cunning Wish for Blue Sun's Zenith

Any instant speed removal while Worldgorger trigger is on the stack is a game loss for you.

Omeros: Well, 4x Force of Will and 2 Pact of Negation helps. If they disrupt the combo i can start it again with one of my 7 reanimate spells. This is a glasscannon reanimate deck, so sure its fragile. Its not a game loss tho..
Heres my deck. WIP. Suggestions appreciated :). Worldgorger

If they disrupt Worldgorger with removal, the LTB trigger resolves before the ETB trigger and your entire board is left in exile.

The Vintage combo works by using Bazaar of Baghdad to repeatedly cycle through cards, then getting your graveyard back via Tasigur, the Golden Fang. You then mill them out with Ancestral Recall or kill them with Lightning Bolt.
The reason I bring this up is because Dragon runs into the problem of getting infinite mana, then having nothing to do with it. Legacy doesn't have Bazaar of Baghdad to cycle through the deck. Otherwise, you're trying to assemble a much larger combo. Not only do you have to have Animate Dead and Worldgorger Dragon, you also need to have the win condition ready to go. Your solution is pretty much Desolate Lighthouse. You don't want to just be playing a bad version of Reanimator, where you could just win by dropping a Griselbrand into play on turn 1, then drawing a bunch of cards until you get Iona, Shield of Emeria.
Unlike Vintage, however, Legacy has full access to all the stupid 1-mana cantrips. You get to play a full set of Ponder, Brainstorm, and Preordain. That's on top of Careful Study, Breakthrough, and Cunning Wish. There's even Intuition.
Essentially, you'd just chain together a bunch of draw spells until you assemble the combo. While you don't get the "Oops! I guess I win?" with turn 1 Griselbrand, you do go deeper into blue to play Daze, Misdirection, and Force of Will. Even if they stop you from going off, you have enough cantrips to rebuild.

I think the classic mana dump for it was Ambassador Laquatus. But last time I saw a Gorger deck was close to 10 years ago, lol.
