And my first Legacy deck is ___ (fill in the blank)

I am starting to take interest in Legacy, more specifically in 12-post Eldrazi-type, Pox, the Gate (not sure what this one is but I heard it uses Phyrexian Obliterator, so I definitely like it) and Death and Taxes. Can someone show me in more detail what these four decks are like (without directing me to a primer, I have looked them up already and am still confused)?
12-post is a hyper ramp strategy based on cloud post and how using thespians stage, glimmer post and vesuva, you can essentially have 12 options for having locus lands in play. Then using cards like the eldrazi to finish up the game. The deck is mainly a turbo fog type strategy however it can kill quickly using dark depths and thespians stage to circumvent the counter removal. It's not amazing in the current meta but it is pretty fun to play and has a really good matchup against miracles which is pretty strong still in the current meta.
Death and taxes is a white weenie deck (there is an explanation to the name but its not important) based on hate bears that "tax" opponents spells. One of the greatest examples is Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. Other examples are Spirit of the Labyrinth and Mother of Runes. It plays creatures like these to pressure your opponent while delaying their game plan. This deck is an aggro style deck with a control aspect to it however the control aspect is almost on autopilot as the control elements are side effects of your game plan, the only control choices you have to make really are what lands to lock down with Rishadan Port. Death and taxes has a lot of play to it as it is fairly flexible in its strategy in that you can play around a lot of different decks.
12 post is a fun deck but not too terribly competitive while D&T is much more competitive and personally I'd say its less fun (that might be more personal preference though, it isn't the grind I look for). Based on my experience, 12 post is easier to pick up and play while D&T takes a little to get a lot of the interactions down. It depends on play style and what you are looking for out of legacy. I hope this helps

WicKid52 and Swilensk Thank you both very much!! I'm pretty sure I'll start with 12-post or the Gate, but I'll keep listening for other opinions!

To add, 12 Post is incredibly tool box oriented and has a lot of answers. It's weak to Wasteland, so most competitive lists run Pithing Needle somewhere in their 75. It has a ton of good matchups, but can be weak to combo. Show and Tell is hilarious to play against... ;-)
I have a mono list on my profile page, if you'd like to check it out. It's a stomping machine.

aeonstoremyliver Haha I already did :) T3 Eldrazis are very tempting, I'll probably give it a try.

Ender666666 I have looked up all the major archtypes for legacy, so dredge obviously came up, and it's just not a playing style I like. Combo is not really my thing, more like either semi-control or just big stompers (hence 12 post).

Berserk infect is my favorite for legacy. You can kill easily on turn 2-3.

My first Legacy deck (actually not quite complete, need a couple Jace's and some sideboard tech) is David McDarby's Veteran Walkers...
I just loved the fact that Karn Liberated is one of it's win-con's, and that it uses Veteran Explorer. - (Also helped that I had the land base for the deck already)
If you want to look further into it, there are videos of how it's played an wins, as well as what it loses to and why, here.

did you have specific questions and things you were confused on? saying dont point you to a primer bc youre still confused might seem like a generic explanation of the decks isnt going to help lol

mckin I just sort of want general information about the decks. The primer I looked at were TOO detailed, and I could not get what the deck strategy was.

Snap bro, I can walk you through 12 Post no problem.
I agree with julianjmoss, Nic Fit is fun and fairly budget, save a few duals (it runs mainly basics), and a Moat, I think. It's like a Legacy Birthing Pod deck, which can also be tool box oriented.

Moat is optional, there are so many versions of the deck you can do whatever you want

The Gate is a mono-black aggro strategy that aims to remove all notable threats, strip their hand, and kill them quickly with Obliterators, Liliana of the Veil, Bitterblossom, and other such dudes. Pox is more about generating value out of supposedly symetrical cards, such as the titular Pox. Those are the only one's that I've played, I can't afford the others.
