Any ideas of good budget legacy decks??

The decks themselves are a little bit out of date but the archetypes are generally valid.

Pretty sure budget and legacy don't belong in the same sentence.

The problem with budget legacy decks is that you are most likely losing efficiency in order to make the deck budget. So while these decks are possibly fine in smaller tournaments, if you are doing a large event with 10+ rounds, the chances of the lack of consistency is going to get more and more likely to come back to bite you.
Having said this, there are a few decks that are not as expensive because they don't run dual lands or things like that.
Mono red and elves have already been mentioned, but you could also play a dredge deck without LED (again sacing speed for consistency,,, well maybe not so much since the addition of faithless looting). What type of legacy deck are you looking to play? I could try to suggest more decks if I knew that.

Yeah, can you update with what you're expecting to play against? Like, if you're just playing a few friends who have legacy decks, you can exploit what they're doing with the right deck - even if it isn't relevant in tournament legacy.
For example, if everybody is playing aggro just play turbo-fog. Legacy gives some great options, and it's funny as shit.

Burn is likely the cheapest. Goblins isn't too bad, depending on the build. Mono black Pox is okay, but white/black or green/black are gonna cost $$. Fish/Merfolk is also not bad, save for the Force of Will s.

I have broken everyone the dick with your shitting budget !
If you do not want to spend money then do not play magic, or at least legacy !
(Format where if you do not spend 380 Euros for 4 Wasteland and 4 Force of Will lose)
You know that they have invented a format called Pauper ?!

I tried to make a legacy deck for 15 from a dealers price list. Here's what i got:

the cheapest would be mono color, obviously saving huge on lands
elves got a lot more expensive now using 4 Gaea's Cradle and they more than doubled in price
goblins isnt too bad relatively i think i priced it out under $500?, legacy merfolk, or meathooks (slivers) isnt that bad either minus merfold FoW but when i think budget ledgacy i think $500-800 deck

Legacy affinity is fairly cheap depending on how you build it.
4x ornothopter (50cents)4x memnite (50cents)4x vault skirge (50cents)4x springleaf drum (50cents)4x signal pest (50cents)4x cranial plating (50cents)4x frogmite (50cents)4x myr enforcer (50cents)4x galvanic blast (50cents)4x thoughtcast (50cents)
artifact lands: $1 eachseat of the synod - bluegreat furnace - redvault of whispers - blackdarksteel citadel - colorless4x grixis tapland (50cents)
This would just be a red/blue extremely budget variant that can do turn 3 wins

@CastleSiege: this thread is over a year old, the OP hasn't been on in a year, etc.
Now, can everyone stop necroing threads?

Leylines is a $500 deck. That's cheap for Legacy, and as budget as it should be.

No, the dude is pissed that people keep replying to a year old thread that the OP will never see.

elves - easy, fun
enchantress - grotesque fun, creating BIG creatures out of little ones.
red deck burn
pox - you better like grind decks
those are the cheapest archetypes i can think of off the top of my head
