Seems like this card could make it was into burn decks. Not hard to get the spell mastery part of it in there by having cast two bolts or chain lightning. could replace flame javelin for people that run it.

This card is WAY too inefficient in legacy. 3 mana 4 damage is pretty trash when you're dealing 6 for 2 with Price of Progress or 3 for 1 with your myriad of bolts. This card would probably never make it.

Yeah, a link would be a lot of help. Also for the cards, too. Either way, no, it is way too slow, 3 mana is too much for 4 damage, at sorcery speed. Flame Rift is way better. And the uncounterable part is really weak. And I am pretty sure no one uses Flame Javelin.

Legacy burn? I don't think so. Sulfuric Vortex is a better three drop burn spell, and the deck also doesn't have that many flex spots.
It could see play in Modern burn, however; the "can't be countered" clause might be relevant enough.

KillDatBUG I think it is still too weak for Modern. The can't be countered clause really is only relevant against twin, and that 4 damage would be going to a creature most likely. In that case, I'd rather have Rending Volley. Also, most burn decks have cards like Boros Charm that are more powerful than this. Instant speed cards are really important in a burn deck.

I would play one of them in modern in mono red. It's ok. It's not great, not even good, just ok.
If you're splashing for white or black, then you have better options.

Unplayable in Legacy RDW. Too inefficient. Flames of the Blood Hand is decent and comparable, but Price of Progress, Flame Rift, et al are much better.

sorry for not liking the card, thought it would show up in the title. Didn't know if the uncounterable would be enough to want to put it in or not.
