Hey I've played modern infect for a bit over a year and I want to get into legacy. Is legacy infect a good way to enter the format? Ive basically picked everything up from berserks to library except for the forces and duals. Any advice would be appreciated
How are it's matchups? How's it looking now with the end of miracles

I'm actually really curious too. I was thinking about getting into Legacy with an Infect deck. Are there any good example decks of what I'm looking to build?

Legacy Infect should be a little better now that Miracles is gone, and is capable of putting up solid finishes. If you plan on playing in regular legacy events, I think it is a fine choice. Just make sure to get 1-2 duals asap, since playing a Daze deck with shocks just doesn't work out too well in my experience. I also have Legacy Infect, but am missing only the duals. Luckily my playtesting group allows me to use the shocks as proxies for the trops, so I could get a feel for it.

There's legacy fnm a few hours from where I live and my local lgs has quite a few legacy players but I have a pretty solid list at leading I think so I just really need practice and how to play and pilot the deck

iAzire This is fairly standard
The main combo is Invigorate + Berserk for the win for 1 mana. You've got a small Crop Rotation package to counter sacrifice effects, buff a dude, fetch a silver bullet or get an Inkmoth. Brainstorm, Ponder, Sylvan Library let you sculpt the hand with all the fetches.

Hey thanks LeaPlath. I like to put my own spin on things, but a starting point is always great.
I just moved a few weeks ago and my new location has a decent sized Legacy following.

iAzire Well in legacy mainboards tend to be very tight. I belive infect has variation around karakas mainboard, if you play white for swords mainboard (1-3 copies) and sideboard tech, 3 with 1 in the side or 4 force. The deck has been pretty well mapped out and you are best off finding stuff in the sideboard to tweak.

Get those forces and at least 1 dual, and you are probably set.
Just remember, Legacy infect is more a tempo than an all in combo deck. You can sit back, make beats, sculpt a hand, then go off when you need to.
