Legacy cards similar to Candelabra of Tawnos/Mana Flare/Winter Orb?

What legacy legal cards are out there that function similar to Candelabra of Tawnos (i.e. let's you untap lands for mana?
I'm unfamiliar with cards that came out after Urza's Saga (was retired from MTG for about 15 years) and could use the help.
I'm toying with the idea of combining Mana Flare with Winter Orb (or similar -please post if you know these too) as a way to limit opponents in land utilization, but allowing me more access to my own lands (through untapping). This would be for legacy play.

Moved to Legacy.
I'm not sure you really want to give your opponents access to something like Mana Flare . You'll have to be careful about how you design the deck.

Also, Candelabra of Tawnos itself is legal in Legacy, so I'm assuming you ask because of the price tag.

Scryb Ranger could be a card you are looking for as you might run some mana dorks the bounce land to hand thing is useful as well to not miss a land drop

Epochalyptik yes, I have one Candelabra of Tawnos but am not about to go buy 3 more on a screwy untested deck idea (lol).
Giving opponents access to Mana Flare or Heartbeat of Spring is dangerous, to offset that I need a strong element of early control to limit their own land's usability. Winter Orb is one example of that... maybe targeted land destruction like Pillage or Stone Rain , but I was thinking more of global effects that shut them down until I can use things like Magus of the Candelabra to untap then big punch. I found that Banefire is uncounterable direct damage. Other sorts of control might be mechanisms that limit the number of spells an opponent can cast... but I don't know what they are... Ok, I'm musing as I type. Thanks again everyone. Keep the thoughts coming!

Demarge I read an article on it earlier this week (http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=10871). Although I have to admit I didn't quite fully get it since most of the cards were new to me. I think it works on a similar principle as what I'm thinking...

In a nutshell, it's an infinite mana combo. High Tide makes your islands output double mana, half of which you spend on Candelabra of Tawnos to untap them all and do it all over again until you can card:Blue Sun's Zenith your opponent for 60. Or in the case of a burn deck, I suppose, Fireball /Disintegrate for whatever Life they have left.

Candelabra of Tawnos doesn't go infinite with High Tide or anything other mana doublers. You need to tap Candelabra to use it.

Oh, it's a Mono Artifact. Duh.
Still. Effectively triple blue mana.

Epochalyptik is right, I've had a Candelabra of Tawnos for years and still sometimes forget that "mono artifact"means "tap to use"... ah the good old days of vague language and endless arguments.
I almost have a prototype deck ready for criticism...

Looking forward to it. Mostly for having something Legacy to talk about.

Ok, I have a draft for your amusement: Flare, imprison, and burn.... Hopefully I put the link in correctly. Please let me know what you think!

For an example of a High Tide deck, mine is High Tide.
If you wanted to go "infinite" in the deck, you'd need access to 12 mana, a Candelabra of Tawnos , and Capsize . Though, it's very "win more." The deck runs perfectly fine without it.

For similar cards that haven't been mentioned, there's Static Orb which can be turned off with some tricks for just you, and for a white splash Mirari's Wake is a one sided Mana Flare/Heartbeat. It's slow for legacy @CMC 5 but it also doesn't have the downside of your opponent untapping first and letting loose on you or combo'ing off with his double mana.
For reference the Wake spawned an entire archetype in Standard back in its day, and even some limited play in extended afterwards.

Magus of the Candelabra is probably the closest thing to the actual Candelabra. If you do go with this, Heartbeat of Spring could serve as your Mana Flare since you'll be in green.
