Legacy deck for modern competition

My college is running a free magic tournament, legacy format. However, 99% of the cards people play are M12 and newer, this gives me a huge advantage with access to some older cards.

I have access to 1 jace, 1 tropical island, 1 taiga, 1 LED, and a handful of other things towards a legacy legal deck in the way of fetch lands, that im hoping will just kind of roll over the competition. I'm basically undefeated with my modern legal merfolk deck, but want something with a different playstyle to showcase some of the older cards.

I was going to build epic experiment but figured since its legacy why not something 'older'.

Most of my collection is RTR and newer, but i started building belcher, and aquired a lot of cards for my edh decks.

If they don't have any Force of Will , run basically any legacy combo deck (dregde, belthcer, Spanish Inquisition, reanimator, elves, storm, etc...). If you wanted to use Epic Experiment , try using storm.

Hmm... well if you don't find that its working, you should got the storm route (a lot of the cards translate over well)

Just curious, but if hardly any people at your college play legacy, why would they run a legacy tournament?

They dont want to neglect anyone that might only have older cards, or people thatvplay with a couple older cards, its about "diversity and accepting everything" requirement

That's why my college only ever ran draft tournaments. FREE draft tournaments :)

cheaper lol, i was playing to draft theros with them and just ask for $15 each, winner gets the 8 packs left over or something,

is there any decent green/blue deck in legacy?

The only deck that is purely Green and blue that I can think of is Twelve-Post and that deck is shifting to using other colors (U/R 12-post, Bant 12-post, etc.)

There is a Shardless Agent deck, it's BUG, but suppose you could make it just UG if you really needed too.
