What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of playing manaless dredge over dredge or dredge over manaless dredge? For reference, here are my lists dredge 3.0. Manaless Dredge 3.0

The consistency is my main reason for running the Traditional Dredge decks over the "No-Lands, Man." Dredge.
T1; Putrid Imp is much more likely, and does nothing but help you out the entire game, and allows you to hold off on the killing move until the very end if one of your key pieces is in your hand.
Not to mention at T2, Cephalid Coliseum becomes a thing. "Draw 3, Discard 3" in a Dredge deck? Sounds legit! I even had a test run deck using Lotus Petal s, (because i still don't own Lion's Eye Diamond ), and my FAVORITE hand had 1 Gemstone Mine , 1 Lotus Petal , 1 Putrid Imp , 1 Breakthrough , 1 Careful Study , 1 Stinkweed Imp and 1 Cephalid Coliseum . I won Turn 2 thanks to milling out 2 Narcomoeba s, and my win-con :)
No Lands, Man. Dredge (As I've been introduced to it) is fun, but seems to have much less options. And i can't say nearly as much for it, because i didn't like it enough to keep playtesting it. Plus there is no possibility for a T1 win, so, as a combo player, it looses some luster for me.

Manaless Dredge:
1) Immune to Wasteland , Blood Moon , and anything that messes with the opponent's mana base. These all become dead cards and wasted slots.
2) Immune to Counterspell s. Okay, sure, they might hit Cabal Therapy or Dread Return , but that's a minor loss considering the rest of your deck is built on triggers.
Traditional Dredge:
1) It's more consistent. You're not relying on Chancellor of the Annex in your opening hand to hold them off for the first turn. Mulligans are a lot less painful.
2) Better draw engine. Casting Faithless Looting when two Golgari Grave-Troll is amazing and feels amazing.
3) If all else fails, Stinkweed Imp deals with Show and Tell and Reanimate .
