MUDdying up Haste

Okay, so Metalworker + Staff of Domination = library flipped onto battlefield. This much I know. But a friend tried to explain to me that Lightning Greaves would allow you to attack with everything ASAP.

Now my problem is that I'm almost certain that for a creature to keep the Haste Lightning Greaves gives to it, they must still be paired.

So my question; Would a creature keep the Haste given to it by Lightning Greaves if the card was to unequipt?

Yes, the creature only has haste as long as it is actually equipped with Lightning Greaves
