I'm no vet when it comes to MTG, but I do know that the Detain mechanic in the RtR block is pretty nice. Azorius Arrester , Azorius Justiciar , Lyev Skyknight , Lavinia of the Tenth are pretty fun to bounce around the field. There's always the typical Thragtusk and Armada Wurm , but practically everyone knows of these and a lot of big netdecks use them.
But yeah, detain is fun.

Rather than clogging up the forums, you could go to:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Advanced.aspx
Put "enters the battlefield" into the rules text section, then any other variables ( color, card type, format, CMC, etc) and you'll see cards that you want.

It would help if we knew what colors you wanted to stick to, and if you had any other deck themes besides blinking.

Venser, the Sojourner with Stonehorn Dignitary is nearly an auto win against most decks!
June 26, 2013 3:36 p.m.
Venser, the Sojourner is probably the best card for a blink deck. Good ETB cards for Venser to target would be Precursor Golem and Blade Splicer .
Really, there are lots of great etb creatures for a blink deck, it's just a matter of what you want those etb abilities to do.

There is something to be said for having a variety of abilities, though. The reason I say that is then you can more easily adapt to whatever the situation calls for based on what you draw and what your opponent(s) do.
June 26, 2013 7:40 p.m.
On the flip side of that, more often than not you'll be drawing creatures with etb abilities that don't fit what the current situation calls for.
There is a deck that does what you want to do, r3v13w, and it's called pod. Birthing Pod lets you get around the weakness of 1-of's and 2-of's by letting you tutor for the etb creature you need at that very moment. Without pod, etb creature decks with too much variety of abilities would be terribly inconsistent.
June 26, 2013 7:45 p.m.
But they would probably be fun! How much can you count on Birthing Pod in an EDH game anyway if it is just 1 of 99?
But yes - I can see that consistency and focus does help a person win. Perhaps in time I will determine which thing to focus on after seeing which of the many different ETB things I go for and which ones I don't use even when I can.
I have time to think about it.

I'm just going to alert everyone to the fact that this is in the legacy forum. While Stonehorn Dignitary + Venser, the Sojourner is a viable combo in modern, this is legacy, and you want powerful and cheaper stuff. 4CMC should be an instant win or a Jace, the Mind Sculptor . wait, hang on a sec... Aren't they the same thing? ANYWAY! I'm a modern and standard player, so I can't be of much help but Snapcaster Mage and Vendilion Clique are probably my best recommendations for legacy.

There are 738 creatures in MTG that are white, blue, green, or some combination of the above, or colorless, that have the words "enters the battlefield" in their rules text:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&text=+[%22enters%20the%20battlefield%22]&type=+[%22Creature%22]&color=+![R]+![B]

I narrowed it down some - but it still was too much to go through in one sitting for me:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&text=+![landfall]+![kicker]+![bloodthirst]+![chroma]+[%22enters%20the%20battlefield%22]+![graft]+![evolve]+![morph]+![haunt]+![echo]+![sunburst]&color=+![R]+![B]&type=+[%22Creature%22]
