Nether Shadow vs Ichorid in Dredge?

Which is better in dredge: Nether Shadow or Ichorid. Ichorid has more power put leaves at end of turn, and has to get rid of fodder. Nther shadow has less power and also needs more creatures.
Thoughts?

In my experience some lists play both, as Ichorid helps Shadow as you can stack the order which the trigger happen.

Erm...whenever I see these I always think do people actually understand the deck?
Ichorid is the staple for many many reasons. a 3/1 is a fairly relevant stat line. It dies and probably kills something that blocks it. It whittles people down. It dies at the end of turn for zombies.

Ichorid dying helps trigger bridge from bellow, which lets you swarm the board and kill your opponents. That's the engine the deck runs on, there's no reason to switch it out.
