Is Tarmogoyf any good an affinity list? (Drop 4 Ancient Tomb /Glimmervoid /Darksteel Citadel in favor of Tree of Tales )
Tree of Tales is banned in modern and Ancient Tomb was never legal in modern... so I assume this is legacy? And ya, affinity is very bad in legacy, I wouldn't waste the money on Tarmogoyf s to add them to a legacy affinity deck. That said, have you seen Delver of Secrets Flip Treasure Cruise and Brainstorm ? I hear they play real good with Tarmogoyf in legacy.

And i am building it as a counterpart legacy deck (similar to duel decks) to be played against my manaless dredge deck

Legacy Affinity is actually pretty good if piloted correctly. The Artifact lands make Cranial Plating
and Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
redonculous. That being said, you could splash 
for Goyf, but Goyf wouldn't be all that good in a Legacy Affinity list. You'd be better off with a 
splash for Stoneforge Mystic

I was thinking coz you are already sacrificing things to Arcbound Ravager it might be good plus they usually counter your Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

unless I'm mistaken, affinity is terrible in Legacy.
