Faithless Looting in cube

Hi all

Maybe a bit newbie question but why is Faithless Looting good in a cube? Because I think simply any burn spell is a better pick when drafting. Is it because of a reanimator purposes? Or good with Snapcaster when playing UR?

It makes bad hands better. It sets up storm, reanimator, various combo and graveyard decks and you can cast it twice.

Also, Red doesn't usually get looting so much as rummaging, e.g. Rummaging Goblin. (The difference being looting draws then discards, where rummaging discards then draws.)

Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded also does this, but more chaotically. The lack of control is why I think people dont like him.

I included Faithless Looting in my Cube because I was exploring color shifted effects. The Cube was pretty degenerate, but there are some all-star cards that remain, including FL.

Looting is generally a fairly strong ability in Limited. You tend to run a higher concentration of lands in limited than in constructed. This often leads you to have lots of lands in hand. Being able to cycle them out without losing advantage is nice. Digging for your bombs is nice too. 2R is also a damn easy spell to cast.

Card Selection is very powerful. And red doesn't usually get access to this type of effect. It's also very good IN a burn deck since you can hold your lands 4 & 5 to pitch when you draw 6-8 points of burn.

I guess those make sense.

Cheers for the responses.
