What did you play at the Pre-Release, how did you do, what worked and what didnt?
For me I played UB Tempo with Silumgar, the Drifting Death, Necropolis Fiend, and Soulflayer as my rares
My deck's all-star cards were Whisk Away, which provided much needed tempo and removal, Cloudform which ended up being hard to block, and really hard to remove, and Rites of Undoing which let me bounce Cloudform and their blocker for profit and provided some much needed support throughout the game.
All in all, I went 3-0 in my midnight event and had a great time. Seems like 2 colors is pretty safe, because everyone at the top at my lgs was 2 colors.
I actually found that Ojutai, Soul of Winter was powerful. Like super powerful.

I played 'Jeskai'aka Selsenya. I also had a Dragon Bell Monk that was a little camera shy. XDManifest is so fun :3

When you have one morph dude and four manifest dudes, and every combat you swing with mana open. Good times.

I ran Mardu aggro. Only good pulls were a Bloodstained Mire and promo Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury. All my other rares were crap. Got some decent commons and uncommons though. Went 2-1-1 and finished 8th. Traded my rare from the pack I won for a Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. I had a great time since this was the first prerelease I had been to since Journey into Nyx. So it had been awhile.

I went Sultai twice.
Went 3-1 with a control deck running Crux of Fate, Silumgar, the Drifting Death, Warden of the First Tree, and Polluted Delta for rares. I also had 2 Death Frenzy and a ton of other removal. Aside from the Silumgar and 2 Abomination of Gudul my creature pool wasn't particularly good, but it worked out because I just killed everything on the other side of the table.
Then I went 1-3 with a mostly manifest-themed deck running Torrent Elemental, Archfiend of Depravity, and 3 uncommon dragons as my big threats. I had a hard time figuring out what to do with this pool, but in retrospect I probably should've tried going Abzan or Temur. On the Abzan side I had literally the only removal in my pool (2 Kill Shot, 2 Harsh Sustenance, and a Sandblast), plus Dromoka, the Eternal. Only a Scoured Barrens for white fixing though, but I did have a couple GB lands. On the Temur side my Khans pack had a Savage Knuckleblade, Stubborn Denial, and a Snowhorn Rider, followed by Yasova Dragonclaw in the first FRF pack. However, I only had 1 relevant land for these colors.

Schuesseled - That was basically every game for my second deck. It was the greatest sealed deck ever for me. The beautiful thing about it is your opponent has no idea what's manifested. When you have 12 2/2's that could get even better your opponents never know where to block, what to try and kill, how in general to avoid death.
That said in the match/round that I did lose - Mob Rule for all my manifests was a pretty brutal beating. That said we should never have gone to a game three since I should have won game two. (as in putting the two counters from citadel siege onto a different creature was the difference between doing 12 damage and 14, where 14 would have been lethal. giving my opponent a chance to top deck burn and kill me)

Whisk Away is a fantastic card. Really, really good.
