How Can I Get Materials For A Prerelease

In my area, the closest LGSs are almost an hour away and often it is inconvenient to travel to prerelease events. Is there any way to get the materials to hold a prerelease event in closer to home?

I'm in the same sort of situation. I try to carpool to cut down on cost and alone time. Other than that, you might try speaking to Wizards directly and see if they have any suggestions.

You could always try to go online and order some sealed prerelease kits on ebay.Granted, these can be somewhat expensive, but it's an option. Alternatively, you could just go to a walmart or local retail store and get enough boosters to prerelease, just without any promo cards.

Suck it up sally, make the drive. Playing Magic is worth it.

Buy a kit from an Amazom seller. They're pretty close to the price it would cost to play at your LGS anyway. Also, if you have prime, you get it in 2 days.

Not really... for wizards to even allow you to sell their product, they need a huge amount of proof that you actually own a brick-and-mortar business, and even once that happens, they need proof that you are both turning an audience for events and are improving in your sales.
