Picking a cubelet

I want to make a cubelet. Budget is under $100. I've never made a cube or cubelet before and I basically don't want to try and build one so throw in your suggestions for builds that you think I should make. Even if a cubelet is over my budget I can try to bring the cost down myself so if you know an amazing cubelet that is over my budget I'd still like to see it and any suggestions of what to change would be greatly appreciated.

Spootyone You gave me the idea ages ago and I've slept on it for long enough. Any suggestions?

A battlebox would be fine too.

I love my cube. It isnt necessarily expensive to build one at all. Designing a cube is also a lot of fun, it's like designing 20 decks all at once. It's a project I recommend to any serious deck builder. A cube is something any serious Magic card player should consider having built anyways. It can be such a great format, and its a great way to get 6-8 people playing magic together without a ridiculously slow 6-8 player game of edh. My cube was even designed with a 2 player mode in mind.

Perhaps a block cube? You can draft them or play them like you would a pre release. I did one myself based on the Fate Reforged draft (FRF/KTK/KTK) as it's where I rejoined and had a crapton of cards from so... comes pretty close to the real thing... just no fetches or walkers.

Just an idea. You can find it on my profile if you care to look.

I made one in about that price as my first cube:
