Thinking of Trying Prerelease Again

The midnight one was kind to me in that I got some nice cards, unfortunately not so much for Mardu which I had picked. While other people pulled nice commons and uncommons, even some powerful promos, pretty much the only on color cards for me were removal spells and my promo was an Arcbond(which looks gorgeous by the way so I'm not too sad about that). And while it is nice to keep big threats off the table, eventually I just run out of steam and only had tiny creatures left to protect me.
That being said, I was thinking of going Jeskai or Temur, but probably Jeskai since I don't seem to have much luck when it comes to pulling what I really need.
Any tips for commons and uncommons I should keep an eye out for?

Sandblast and Burn Away were all stars for me. Ojutai, Soul of Winter was crazy good as well. Monastery Mentor was really...blah. But jeskai was fun and did well. Try to get at least 15 creatures in your deck, I only had 12 and it felt like I could have used some more density

Bathe in Dragonfire, Collateral Damage, Merciless Executioner, pretty much removal and sexy creatures ;)
