The Q&A section isn't for these kinds of questions only card rulings etc. Post it in the forum sections "The Kitchen Table" or "General".

This isn't a Rules Q&A question, will probably get moved soon, but i took this from the Wikiapedia page

Cube Draft

Cube Draft is a booster draft variant in which the pool of cards is a predetermined set of cards chosen for the purpose of drafting them. The pool of cards is known as a Cube and usually contains a minimum of 360 cards to accommodate an eight-player booster draft.[20] The cards used in a Cube are usually unique so that no card appears more than once in a draft. The most popular Cubes tend to be amalgamations of powerful cards from throughout Magic's history (Powered Cube), but Unpowered Cubes, Pauper (only commons) and Peasant (commons and uncommons) Cubes exist, as well as cubes with themes such as Storm, Tribal, One-Drops, or Mono-Colored.

The Cube Draft format has been sanctioned by Magic Online in 2012, albeit for limited time runs.[21] Cube Draft was first used as a sanctioned format at the 2012 Magic Players Championship.[22]

Building a Cube yourself to draft is super fun, as it is like curating your own set! And the advantage of a Cube draft as opposed to drafting a box of new boosters is that a) You can draft whenever you like with your friends and have cards ready to go and b) You don't have to drop dollars buying a new box, as you make the packs yourself with your owned cards!

360 cards is the minimum number for a Cube, and this minimum allows you to play more with your favourite cards but will have less variance in the cards that come up. Some build cubes twice as big at 720 cards, meaning there will be plenty of variance in the cards you see from draft to draft.

Just to clarify, your cube can be as big or small as your playgroup. You only need a minimum of 45 cards per player (what any individual player normally drafts in a draft). It is super fun, I highly recommend it.

Wait... So you collect the 360 cards, and then put together your own 15-card boosters?

That's correct. Randomize them, and put them into face-down piles of 15. Give each player 3 piles of 15 cards, and draft as usual.
