Could the Eldrazi Titans all be alive?

I was reading the oath of the gatewatch story and I noticed that after they destroyed the titans by pulling them fully into the plane and nuking then, there were still Eldrazi Spawn alive. This confused me Bc they were explained as what if you have thousands of hands and you were sticking them in a pond. So if they are still alive wouldnt that mean that the titans are still partially alive?
If I'm remembering the story correctly it would be more appropriate to say that the Gatewatch were cutting off the hands of the person outside the pond. So since we don't actually know that much about the eldrazi the very well could be a wounded entity thrashing in the Blind Eternities.

Actually if you'll recall they pulled them fully in before destroying them with the leylines. However there are many thoughts and theories that say because they're primordial beings from the blind eternities that they can never truly die.

My functioning theory is that the Eldrazi are essentially the fungus of the Multiverse, and recycle and rebirth planes. I think that it is likely their main physical form was destroyed, but parts and pieces of them will eventually reform into the titan manifestations.

If you think of the Eldrazi titans as people, the spawn would be equivalent to a cell. When the body dies, the cells don't immediately die as well, especially those that have access to nutrients, but they will eventually die. Ulamog and Kozilek are dead. Emrakul is still alive, just Imprisoned in the Moon on Innistrad.

Ula and Cosi are dead Ashes. There spawn are individual units that don't require the Titans to function, even though the titans created them.

From theories I have read the Eldrazi are not evil nor are the good. They appear to be neutral. Their purpose is to reinvigorate dying planes. Ulamog comes first to a dying plane to recapture any remaining mana/energy followed by Kozilek who re-shapes the mana-drained plane. The last to come is Emrakul who revitalizes the plane with life. It would appear the Eldrazi are beings who's sole purpose is to reconstruct dead or dying planes. The only reason they came to Zendikar is they were imprisoned there by some planeswalkers who really had no idea what they were doing as evidenced by Ugin's rebuke of them for wanting to destroy them.

Shadeslinger So I've actually been thinking about this since the Bolas/Ugin stories came out for Magic 2019. My theory is that the Eldrazi are tied in with the Meditation Plane. Their role in the multiverse is so scavenge the mana from dying planes and it's held in the Meditation Plane in the water. As the mana is collected, the water in the plane gets deeper and deeper until there is enough mana to be used to make a new plane. After Ugin was resurrected in the Meditation Plane, the water dropped from the high level to almost gone because resurrecting an elder dragon planeswalker took up most the mana. After that, the Eldrazi continued to collect mana and slowly refill the Meditation Plane to be used again. However, soon after this (relatively speaking in terms of pre-Mending planeswalkers' lives) Ugin, Sorin, and Nahiri trapped the Eldrazi on Zendikar and made it so they couldn't collect any more mana. Soon after they were released, Ulamog and Kozilek were killed and Emrakul was imprisoned so they could not collect more mana. In the time after Ugin was revived and they were imprisoned/killed/reimprisoned, they had the chance to collect some mana and refill some of the water in the Meditation Plane. In recent stories, the Meditation Plane has had water that is about ankle deep. This is the mana that was collected in that short amount of time, especially compared to the story of Ugin's resurrection when the water from the Meditation Plane was completely gone.

I always understood that as the Titans themselves were the hands, and the spawn were the ripples caused by those hands. If you dip your hand into water and then pull it back the ripples still exist for a time.
