Could there be a possibility of other Eldrazi?

We alreadty know of Emrakul, Ulamog, and Kozilek. But, if they ever reprint Zen block, new, even more badass Eldrazi? I couldn't find anything on it.
I'm saying, could there be OTHER Eldrazi except for the 3 we know of already?

The MTGSalvation Wiki site says that all Eldrazi descend from one of the 3 titans (Emrakul, Ulamog, and Kozilek). It's possible that a few descendants could grow extremely powerful, which would give Wizards the out they need to give Eldrazi a new ability besides Annihilator.

In theory, if creative and R&D wanted to create new eldrazi they could. I doubt they will, however, since they can just make new versions of those eldrazi instead of having to reprint them or make new ones. Compare Teysa, Orzhov Scion and Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts .

@guerillarage I don't think anybody wins there. One side eats the other and gets stronger. Meanwhile, the heroes stay the same strength.

Still. I want to see it. Maybe they would destroy each other. Its interesting from a lore perspective.
February 25, 2014 10:27 p.m.
I find it kind of like saying "let's throw the Zerg and the Borg at each other and see what happens." It might be fun to watch, but the end result is going to kill you.

So maybe the eldrazi escape zendikar And make their way to mirrodin...err new phyrexia. Get karn in the mix. Karn gets killed and then we see the return of an icon. Urza! Yeah something like that. Hey a guy can dream.

guerillarage - So weird! I had that exact conversation with someone just the other day! Karn sacrifices himself to resurrect Ursa who joins forces with Mishra to destroy the Eldazi! Oh yeah! Best magic block EVER!

Dude! I even had a thought of urza joining up with mishra too. That is weird. I just really want to see urza come back. I dunno why.

Me too! I want to see Ursa, Mishra, and Barrin as planeswalkers.
February 25, 2014 11:02 p.m.
Who says Emrakul, Ulamog, and Kozilek aren't Urza, Mishra, and Barrin reincarnated?
February 26, 2014 1:08 a.m.
Eldrazi are already sort of natural planeswalkers, aren't they? I mean, the story had them being trapped on Zendikar, not native to it.
February 26, 2014 11:43 a.m.
That....would...be...SO COOL.
Tron would have a party.
February 26, 2014 11:43 a.m.
Eldrazi are native to the Blind Eternities which is the space between planes. They could "fall" into a plane, but there's no evidence pointing to them being able to escape.

Found a link on Doug Beyer's (member of WotC's Creative Department) blog.
Looks like the titans at least can escape plains (normally, at least).

I wish Zendikar comes back! I wasn't playing magic when the block came out and now I have an eldrazi based deck. I just want to see it.

dear Wizards of the coast. I Know you read this ( or at least hope) I demand that you make this happen. this thread made my day, the release of this block would make my whole damn year.

Maybe they'll surprise us and make this into the 'Huey' block.
Urza, Mishra, and Barrin planeswalkers + Eldrazis + reprinted fetch lands + new full art lands
We can dream!

I really hope that there are more Eldrazi in future. Why? Well, Eldrazi means Zendikar, and Zendikar means fetch lands, and fetch lands coming back means no more $70 for a damn land!

I wouldn't be surprised if Wizards prints a "Return to Zendikar" block in the near future. There's been quite a bit of talk about fetchlands getting reprinted and if you look into the lore behind Kiora, the Crashing Wave you'll find that she's from Zendikar. The reason she's come to Theros is to recruit sea monsters to fight against the Eldrazi who ravage her home.

be still my trembling heart. If this means we are going to zendikar I'd call it something like battle of zendikar or Fall of the eldrazi maybe
I love all my zendikar cards with a great love. I'd enjoy using them in standard.

The fetches don't have to be connected to a Zendikar set. Flavor-wise they would work in any set, and half of them had nothing to do with Zendikar originally. Likely we'll see them reprinted before another Zendikar set.
But, bringing back the Eldrazis would be so cool...

CastleSiege says... #28
Reprinting fetches in an "RtZ" block is only an assumption based off of the fact that shocks were reprinted in the RtR block.
February 27, 2014 9:59 p.m.
SharuumNyan says... #29
Yeah, but the flavor of the shocks was related to the Guilds of Ravnica. For example, the Azorious guild hungout at the Hallowed Fountain. The fetches don't really have flavor.

CastleSiege says... #30
I don't know about that, Misty Rainforest seems pretty flavorful to me. Zendikar had a lot to do with exploration/quests/adventure and there's a lot of books/movies where the characters trek through a jungle seeking treasure of some sort.
The Zendikar fetches give you an idea of what the landscape was like.

NO NO NO! I hate Eldrazi. But if we couldn't fathom the 3 before their appearance who knows if new ones will appear?
In truth I only have four of them but I waste their strength since I don't use them for summoning, only for eternal discard and drawing effects such as Wheel of Fortune but eldrazi annihilator was too brutal.

Who said that all of the Eldrazi fell to Zendikar from the Blind Eternities? I'm sure there's more floating around in there.

I'm still hoping for the Eldrazi and the Phyrexians to team up and just kill everyone together
April 1, 2014 7:51 p.m.
We'll definitely see the Eldrazi again and I wouldn't be surprised if Bolas plays a hand in them being freed from their current prison again. I honestly don't want to see them again though (well at least not Emrakul).
April 2, 2014 9:24 p.m.
It's too bad Wizards hasn't thought of (or implemented) one-shot sets that go into Standard and are heavily themed. A visit to the original Eldrazi plane would be RUHDIGGALOUS.
April 3, 2014 1:08 a.m.
CastleSiege says... #36
zandl, the Eldrazi don't have an original plane. They originate from the space between planes.
April 3, 2014 11:40 a.m.
And here we are, over a year later.. Duct_tape_maniac was nearly spot on with his naming of the set. Crazy how things play out sometimes. Fetches were reprinted but some before the new set and the ones being printed now are not going to help megawurmple out at all. I bet most of the people on this thread aren't even on t/o anymore, the only familiar name I see is zandl.. it's a shame, they would love to see this. I, in a weird way, agree with SkyRaider42 that an eldrazi and phyrexian set would be nuts, not likely to happen though. Man, how'd I even find this old thread...

I'm on TO all the time! I mostly creep on the forums and actually post when I feel knowledgeable about something lol. Props to Duct_tape_maniac for pretty much guessing the correct name for the set haha.

The Eldrazi are not dead. Mark Rosewater has said we will likely see them again, but the Annihilator ability probably won't return with them.
