Current State of Ravnica

Jace is the living guildpact of Ravnica, but he has been absent from that plane for some time, now, so I wonder if his absence shall have any significant effect upon the plane?

It is certainly too early for there to be a third Ravnica block, but I expect that WotC shall eventually show what has been happening on that plane since Jace departed, as it is too good of an idea for future stories to not pursue.

Perhaps Jace will realize that he cannot serve as the living guildpact of Ravnica is he is attempting to protect the entire multiverse, and shall pass the mantle to someone else? I would very much like it if Teysa became the new living guildpact of the plane.

What does everyone else say about this? What do you believe has been occurring on Ravnica since Jace left?

I heard a couple people at my LGS mention a couple weeks ago that WotC had already confirmed a third revisit to Ravnica.

TMBRLZ, when would such a return happen? It is far too soon for it to be the next block after the Shadows Over Innistrad block, or even the block after that, so I hope that WotC waits for several block before going to Ravnica for a third time.

There WAS the article featuring Teysa and Tajic, Blade of the Legion trying to overthrow the Orzohv council using minor laws that were "confirmed" by Jace before he left looking for Garruk, giving them some kind of power. What ended up happening was that the entire Ghost Council, led by Karlov of the Ghost Council trapped both of them in the heart of the cathedral where they hold the most power, stripped Teysa of all her titles, items and magic, imprisoned Tajic, and forced her to climb up a tower of some 40 stories to discuss her new debt for sparing her life and keep in mind that she suffers severe leg deformities and needs a cane to walk normally.

FatherLiir, I recall that story, and enjoyed it immensely, even if I did not like what happened to Teysa, as she is my favorite character from Ravnica. I am certain that WotC shall revisit her, again, since I doubt that they shall leave us with such a suspenseful cliffhanger regarding her ultimate fate.
