Ive been looking over the new clans from khans, and my favorite is Abzan.
HOUSE ABZAN FOR LIFE!
Post your fav in this forum. :)
@JakeHarlow Don't worry, the set hasn't even been released yet and it took a while for the shard names to stick according to veterans.

To be honest, all of them seem interesting.Top for me is Jeskai, they seem mystic and awesome. A little like the benders from Avatar, the last airbender

Temur is my favorite with our leader Bearpuncher! Wish we had more information about mechanics and lore.

Temur. When your leader is known for one punching a freaking Bear, you are a clan of awesomeness

I like Mardu as a B/W/R aggro themed deck but Im keeping Dega the name for my control builds of that color. I think that the new names will catch on but only for their respected deck themes other then this I don't expect to see them used heavily.
This being said by the sound of the name Mardu is my favorite, from the color combination it would be Abzan, and from the flavor I would have to go with Sultai. I love the idea of being able to manipulate my resources in any way I can so this makes me think that I will get some good sacrifice abilities for my EDH decks.

Thanks SwiftDeath
I've gotta go with the Temur or the Abzan. Green is broken.

I like Temur best. Shame it's centered on green, not blue, but I guess we get bear-punching clan leaders, so that's cool.

How do any of those feeble clans rank higher than the bear-punching Temur!?

Temur is kinda badass. Reminds me of the kull from the eragon series. Where to be clan leader you have to kill a bear with your bare (haaaaa) hands.

@TheMightyThorsin, Don't you mean... ZUUUURGOOOOO JEEEEENKINNNSSSS!

The abzan were fools. I am ashamed to have supported them. The speed and strength of the dragon are all that matters.

both abzan and mardu have mislead me. They promised aggro and counters, but now i see that the only way is the Jeskai Way. Who could compete with enlightenment? Or tempo/burn?

This is the perfect time to necro this thread, people have had a chance to playtest after the pre-release games.

I absolutely love the whole 'martial arts monks' theme from the Jeskai Way, and the philosophy behind it. It's easily my favourite. I love how Prowess is both flavorful and practical. Narset is also busted in EDH. Omniscience + Enter the Infinite is possible!
The Temur Frontier is pretty sweet as well, having a savage clan over-powering all that stand in their way. They have the most interesting khan, and the mechanic is flavorful and cool.
The Sultai Brood is interesting, but not interesting enough for me to pay decent attention to it. Delve is not my favourite mechanic, but on certain cards, it's pretty great. (Treasure Cruise , Dig Through Time .)
The Abzan Houses remind me of the Boros Legion, and I like how they're organized, and have cities. Outlast seems especially powerful in limited, but it's not that interesting to play with.
Finally, the Mardu Raiders are boring. The colours are boring, the theme is boring, even their khan, the face of KTK, is pretty boring. I do love raid, though, as it emphasizes attacking first, asking quest-er, playing cards later.

I still can't keep the names straight. Still stuck on BUG, RUG, Junk, America, and Dega. Ugh. I'm such a lore-noob.
