Check out this article all about Saprolings:

So after randomly coming across Thromok the Insatiable I was going to make a 60 card deck all about making him B.I.G. I began looking for creatures that made more creatures and stumbled upon an article that had me opening so many tabs you would have swore I had a drinking problem.

I just wanted to make a casual Thromok deck and now I am suffering from information overload. So much to learn in one life.

Your TLDR is longer than your actual post. The article was TLDR so I read your post instead. Maybe you do have a drinking problem lol :p

I've always wanted to make a devour deck, ever since I seen a very over the top build that puked Eldrazi tokens onto the field (that he could sack for mana) with some enchantment, dragon tokens that had devour themselves with Dragon Broodmother, used Faithless Looting to pitch Broodmother into the graveyard,Reanimate her, then with Doubling Season and Corpsejack Menace doubling tokens, counters, and UGGHHH!!! It was gross.

Thanks tons kengiczar! I'm all kinds of Vorthos, and also run Rith (over at Smashface Gardening w/ Rith (EDH Dragons)), but I had NO IDEA there was so much Saproling lore! Very cool, and thanks again!
